“Conflicted between 3 and 4 stars….. reason as follows:I went here on a recommendation for my first ever exam. Positive - staff were very friendly, and very efficiently I was processed, received initial tests, received Dr tests, fitted for frames, paid, out the door.BUTTwo days later I was finally able to explain to myself why I felt a lingering dissatisfaction. It comes down to a lack of accommodation/understanding for newbies like me.Example: I called to make an appointment. Was asked if I wanted an appointment for glasses or contacts. How am I supposed to know? I just wanted my eyes checked so that I could learn what options I had? To this day I am still not clear if contacts are an option.Example: During the initial and dr tests I was asked multiple times if I wanted to have my eyes scanned. Despite multiple requests nobody seemed interested in explaining to me what it was for. Annoying. So I did not do it, simply because it came across as a make-more-money option.Example: None of the tests were explained, even briefly. Yes, I was told I would feel a puff of air, but what was the purpose of the test?Example: Once tested nobody explained what my prescription meant …. I was put on the conveyor belt to select frames, all without really understanding the result of the tests. Again - everyone was very friendly, but it was only afterwards that it felt like I had been pushed through the process.I cannot emphasize enough that everyone was friendly, and the experience was smooth. But this location did very little to explain the process and results, and options, to a newbie. And that is very disappointing.“
