“Paul is a true sports massage therapist. I’ve been a client for over 10 years. He doesn’t just know how to massage muscles, but it’s obvious that he has a solid understanding of human anatomy. Bones, ligaments, muscles, tendons, fascia…. Just ask, and he’ll be glad to share what he knows. When needed, he’s good at recommending appropriate stretches.
Sometimes, he does very deep massage, and even if it’s a bit uncomfortable, I’ve come to trust that it’s part of good sports massage therapy.
I recommend Paul for sports massage without reservation. He has a quiet studio space and plays relaxing music.“

“Want to go to the best massage place in southern Maine? Go to the Zen Spa. I have an issue with my left shoulder and right knee and hip, and the pain is now GONE! They will ask if you want hard pressure, and I opted for medium in general and hard for my painful shoulder. I've seen other reviews mentioning language barrier issues, but I didn't have a problem as long as I didn't try idle chit chat. I believe they use traditional Chinese massage techniques, which i personally tend to prefer. Bella asked me throughout if I was ok with the pressure and the heat of the stones, etc. She's the best! I've been there once before and had a different therapist who did things slightly differently, but it was still fantastic. It's best to call or book online, as it is difficult for the therapists to make an appointment for walk ins when they have clients. It's a small, no frills place, but it's clean and nice. Prices are very reasonable.“
