I've been going to the same barber for years now, where I live in Southern Maine. Recently, due to my mother's decline in health, I had to make a temporary move to the Augusta area to take care of my mother. Having been long overdue for a haircut/ beard trim because of my hectic schedule, I needed to find someplace local. I was nervous to trust someone I was unfamiliar with and also had no one that could recommend me to. After a quick Google search for barbers in the area, I found GTA and booked with Ray. From the time I arrived to the time I left, I was made to feel as comfortable as I am at my regular barber of many years. The conversation never felt forced, not only with him but with other staff and the regulars there as well. For those that know barber shop culture, this is HUGE. Above and beyond that, my cut was as good as what I'm used to getting from my barber ( I'll never tell him that 🤣). If I'm still in the area when I'm due for my next cut, which is typically 4 weeks so its an absolute likelihood, I would absolutely return and give Ray my business. Would 100% recommend to everyone!!

They were able to seamlessly flow when a client came I for something that was the expertise of someone who was busy and another employee was available they just effortlessly picked up where the other left off. The work did not suffer for it, manicure looked beautiful and the pedicures were lovely too! Will definitely be going back.

I’ve been having Ian cut my hair and keep my beard tame for over 6 years and I will quite literally never go anywhere else. I had all my groomsmen go to WSB before the wedding and my son’s first haircut will be here too. Love the place love the people and love the vibe.

Love this place and I will ONLY go to him from now on for piercings. I had a girl pierce my lip downtown in Augusta (it’s closed now) and she used the wrong size, jewelry, and in the wrong place. He was nice enough to ask if I wanted to take it out and he would do them both for the price of one OR he would use the same size and line them up best as possible. I went with the second option I was 16 and impatient, but he fixed them and got me in fast and last minute. He also did my tongue which came out perfect, super fast, little swelling, and least painful piercing I’ve got.

I am happy to recommend Plourde's to anyone in the Augusta area who needs an electrician. Unlike most electricians, plumbers and roofers who let calls go to voice mail and often don't bother calling back, Plourde's answers the phone and provides excellent customer service. Steve, the owner of the company stopped by just a couple hours after I called and quickly resolved the problem which had left my friend without power. I will definitely call them again for any future electrical needs.

We had our staircase replaced due to a crumbling situation. After discussion with as to how to repair this problem we chose to go with granite steps. This meant a great deal of ripping out the old and adding the new. Jason’s team was not only very professional they are very talented. Their amazing craftsmanship was incredible. I’ve been going to Knox Chiropractic for about six months now. After living with numbness and tingling in my hands for close to a year, thinking that it was just carpal tunnel and I was either going to have to live with it or get surgery, it only took three or four sessions with Dr. Knox to see things start to turn around when he diagnosed it as neck and back issues. The knowledge and skills of the Veterinary staff are the primary reason I seek out a hospital, to be the best place to have my beloved pets' health managed. I am impressed by the services I have received from Dr. Hathaway, and ftom all the tech and front desk staff at Pine Tree. Everyone has been very kind, caring, gentle with my elderly dog, and I'm going to continue to seek routine care for my pets here.
Been going here for many years. Overall happy, but they need to update things, including some policies. It's getting to where I hope it becomes a priority.In this day and age when we can deposit checks online with a photo I shouldn't have to drive 10 miles to pick up a piece of paper so my dog can get special food. A bathroom would be nice too.I know it's tough, but updating is important.They do treat my animals well and that bottom line is what counts. There are some days when I consider trying another place.
