“I've been going to the same barber for years now, where I live in Southern Maine. Recently, due to my mother's decline in health, I had to make a temporary move to the Augusta area to take care of my mother. Having been long overdue for a haircut/ beard trim because of my hectic schedule, I needed to find someplace local. I was nervous to trust someone I was unfamiliar with and also had no one that could recommend me to. After a quick Google search for barbers in the area, I found GTA and booked with Ray. From the time I arrived to the time I left, I was made to feel as comfortable as I am at my regular barber of many years. The conversation never felt forced, not only with him but with other staff and the regulars there as well. For those that know barber shop culture, this is HUGE. Above and beyond that, my cut was as good as what I'm used to getting from my barber ( I'll never tell him that 🤣). If I'm still in the area when I'm due for my next cut, which is typically 4 weeks so its an absolute likelihood, I would absolutely return and give Ray my business. Would 100% recommend to everyone!!“
