“Mona is the best hairstylist I’ve had in the DC area. She knows men’s hair like the back of her hand and could teach classes given how good she is. She is much better at doing my hair than any barber I came across in the few years I’ve lived in the area. “I went to Chevelle for a curly hair cut and she did a fantastic job!! I’ve gone years cutting my own hair after one too many professional cuts that ranged from meh to ommmg no. But it was time to risk it all and have a professional even out my super curly hair.I absolutely love the cut she gave me! It’s shorter than I’ve had before (necessary to remove all the dead ends and even out the back) but I know it will grow in exactly how I want. “Vicky is the absolute best brow artist out there! I have high maintenance eyebrows, and I am incredibly picky about them and who I let touch them! I have been working with Vicky for over a year. She tweezes each hair and this method is much more gentle on my skin. She also is very thoughtful about the shape of your face and the health of your brows (no over-tweezing!). This has also allowed my brows to grow into a much more beautiful shape. AND, unlike when I would wax, Vicky’s tweezing lasts a solid month…and for someone with thick ethnic dark eyebrows, this is HUGE! I cannot recommend Vicky enough! She is an absolute gem with incredible talent and an artful eye!“
