“I’ve been taking my dog to the wrong groomer for 4 years…. And sadly didn’t discover Erin until 2 weeks before we moved out of state! It’s the best haircut my golden doodle has ever had and for once he was not nervous or anxious leaving there like he always has been with previous groomers. Erin was so sweet and said she would “listen” to my dog when he would “tell her he didn’t like something” and talk to him in a calming voice until he’d calm down. Whereas previous groomers would just want to medicate him. She’s wonderful with dogs and gives a GREAT haircut. Absolutely recommend!!! Soooo bummed we won’t be able to go to her anymore due to moving.“

“This place was excellent! Used the self serve wash here for the first time today and really liked it. They provide the soap (with a few different options to choose from), towels, and even puppy cologne at the end of the wash lol. Super friendly and helpful staff- one of the owners was going around checking on everyone in the stalls making sure no one needed anything. And they’re open on Sundays! Definitely coming back“

“Desperately needed help with my pitbull Zeus. 60lbs of muscle that I needed help with walking. My son is the usual walker, but his new job had me needing to step up. I refused to be turned into a meme with Zeus dragging me around.
After having an initial training session to see how things would be, I quickly purchased the 5 pack training sessions. Molly was our trainer and she was an absolute joy. She was very knowledgeable and relatable. I never felt dumb asking questions and she kept making sure I was understanding the process. I liked how she presented me with options on how the training would go instead of dictating things.
My son and I learned a lot of ways to keep our dogs safe and well mannered while out in public. Zeus was an awesome student. Would definitely recommend. Is it cheap? No, but it was worth every penny. All of the employees I met were nice. Don't spend time in the office--I spent too much money on accessories there. LoL. The hoodie I bought is really nice, perfect for really cold days.
Lastly, the effort you put in is what determines how well things work. Its an everyday practice, reinforcing what we've learned. Zeus has his good and not so good days. But the difference is my confidence in handling the situations. Thanks Molly!“

“I just lost my precious dachshund, Rusty. I have to talk of my experience at TLC. Dr. Lucas and I worked together when Rusty was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and later, kidney disease. We walked a tightrope, as Dr. Lucas described it, making medical decisions for both conditions. The heart condition alone usually has a year or less life expectancy. Rusty went on to 1 year and 8 months for me and my baby. In addition, the ladies loved on him sometimes calling him the Rust Man :) I even ended up going to a Vet ER before TLC opened, due to a breathing issue which can occur with the heart condition, and one of these wonderful ladies came and sat with me for several hours when she found out and got off work. I can't begin to describe the wonderful love shown to my boy at TLC. When he passed, there were tears from all, and Dr. Lucas called from his vacation to express his condolences. You will never go wrong bringing your sweet baby to TLC for Pets.“

“Boarded my dogs here recently. I love the process of them coming to you while you sit in your car. You just call the # and they come pick up or drop off your pet. Our drop off was a little chaotic because there was a torrential downpour. The young lady had to run back and forth with forms for us to fill out ( although we had previously filled them online). Then to grab our food ( or they feed your dogs their selection at no additional cost). Then to grab our pets ( husky and a German Shepherd). She handled both dogs well. We'd ask for grooming but that got didn't get put on the file in all the chaos (a little disappointed). Everyone was kind, professional. Other than that, the whole process was smooth. I do love the dogs obstacle courses and pool. I do appreciate that dogs are not kept in cages all day but actually go out and run and swim. My dogs looked happy And taken care of. I would definitely use them again. I believe they give a discount for first time boarders.“

The proprietor was so good to them that when I returned to pick up my pups, I found them relaxing in their crate together after their grooming session. I was informed they had even been napping while they waited for me, a sure sign of comfort.

My 15 year old has a big dose of Jack Russell Terrier in her, so holding still for nail trims has never been easy. She received one of the best trims she has ever had at A-1, ensuring that I will certainly return for future appointments.“
