Tony and Travis run a customer oriented business. I worked with them on my first BRRRR In Baltimore, and I had an appraisal target. When all was said and done, the property appraised for even more than we targeted. This just shows the quality and attention put into the work.

All the horror stories you hear about contractors can be put to rest when you work with these guys. They are incredibly communicative and generous with their time and effort To make sure the job is done to your liking.

When I initially was bidding the work, their “came out a bit more expensive than the others, but based on what they were telling me, they plan to do, I felt safer going with them. For instance, this property had an old beat up roof with multiple visible signs of previous water damage. All the other contractors said the roof just needed an extra layer of torch down, but these guys said it needed to be replaced. Well, it turns out they were 100% right. Once they pulled off the old roof, they showed me a picture of what was underneath and a truck could’ve fallen through it. It just goes to show that they actually know what they’re doing.

Additionally, and perhaps most importantly, I appreciated the fact that they didn’t scope creep this contract. The price they quoted me initially is the price I ended up paying, except for some additional small changes I requested midway through.

Bottom line, I found my preferred contractors and I hope to make a lot of money together as my journey continues.“

“I was looking for a good small contractor to do some indoor renovation. I tripped over Tool Box as I surfed. Someone posted pictures of the job he did. The comments indicated his dedication to quality work. He provided us a reasonable quote to other respondents. He was very professional and demonstrated his belief that he treated our home as if he was working on his home. At one point his helper did some inferior painting. Ed replaced the helper and corrected the previous work. We had him remove a wall, install a floor and some tile in the kitchen and paint hallways and the downstairs living area. I will certainly contact him for future work.“

“We worked with One Source Contracting on the full commercial tenant fit-out for our new dental office in Baltimore, and I can honestly say the experience exceeded our expectations from start to finish. Taking on a commercial construction project, especially for a healthcare and dentistry space, can feel overwhelming with all the moving parts involved, but their team made the process incredibly smooth and organized.

From the beginning, they worked closely with us, our commercial landlord, and Carballo Architecture to make sure every detail of the dental office build-out stayed on track. There are so many layers involved in a renovation like this, from permits and paperwork to scheduling trades and coordinating inspections, and they handled all of it professionally.

One thing that really stood out was how involved and hands on the team was throughout the process. The project manager was on site daily making sure everything was progressing properly, answering questions, coordinating subcontractors, and keeping communication flowing between everyone involved. Their office staff was also extremely responsive and helpful whenever documentation or paperwork was needed for landlord requirements, approvals, or other parts of the commercial construction process.

You can tell they have real experience with commercial remodeling and office construction because they understood the functionality that a dental practice needs, not just the appearance. The finished office is clean, modern, efficient, and extremely well-built. We’ve had patients, staff, and colleagues compliment the space constantly since opening.

What I appreciated most was that they genuinely cared about getting things done the right way. Even when unexpected issues came up, they stayed solution-oriented and proactive instead of reactive, which made a huge difference during a project of this size.

“The only time we enjoyed a en suite bathroom was when we stayed at a fancy Airbnb. We finally have one in our house thanks to Greenleaf Construction! Chase Francis, our project manager, met with us on the design, cost proposal and eventual construction. It was a complete demolition down to studs of our existing bathroom. Chase provided valuable guidance on a revised layout that enlarged the shower area and was diligent in reviewing the owner and contractor submittals. (I missed chrome when it should have been brushed nickel and that would have been a two week delay.)
I can’t say enough about how wonderful our experience has been with Greenleaf.

Chase, our project manager, was a delight. He was so communicative and top of all the details including owner needed decisions! The Greenleaf crew of Alfredo, Alex, Alex and Leo performed all the construction excluding plumbing and electrical. Their workmanship on the drywall, tile, wood trim and painting is exceptional. The temporary protection, dust control and daily cleanup was perfect.

I’m sorry that we didn’t discover Greenleaf sooner. They recently added a new 1/2 bath to our daughter’s house and we were so impressed with their performance which made our decision easier. You will also note in the photos a late add of wall tile in our kitchen. Greenleaf provides exceptional value, quality and design expertise. You will be happy with your experience!“

“I have used this firm once before for basement insulation and was impressed with work quality and communication.

This job was to correct a sagging corner on a deck and warped deck rails on the composite railings. They installed additional fasteners on the rails, corrected a sagging rim joist, and reinstalled decking----one day of work and the deck looks amazing and is sturdy (and level!). Better than promised and job site is cleaner than before the work!

I also asked them to repair rotted door jamb bases around my basement french door.....I was expecting a splice of composite material to the lowest few inches of the jamb. They replaced the pine jambs with PVC or some other composite on both sides all the way up. It looks amazing.....caulked and finished perfectly.

One more thing-----the office staff communicates well about timing of visits for estimates and scheduling for the work dates. Very impressive. Thanks!“
