“We had our master bathroom and powder room remodeled by Blackstone Kitchen & Bath at the same time, and we are delighted with the results for both. Both designs were done by Khalid. He took the time to answer our questions, and help us select items from the showroom that incorporated our tastes while being mindful of our budget. He was also willing to send us some 3D renderings to look at before putting any money down. Our production team consisted of Eko (project manager) and Ernesto (contractor). Ernesto was skillful and efficient in all stages of the remodeling work. Eko kept us apprised of each step for both projects as it became necessary to pivot from the initial plan (see below). However, he kept the projects moving forward, readily answered all our questions and explained what needed to be done when we encountered the issue of the floor not being level. He also took the time to find the grout we wanted, which required driving around to several different locations to find it.

We had a few critiques of the remodeling process: the vanities did take some time to come in (~ 4 weeks); early on it was discovered that one of the vanities was ordered in the wrong color so a replacement was needed, but it took another 4 weeks for it to come in; the shelving unit in the linen closet was on backorder, and it was initially difficult to pin down an exact date of delivery.
Because of the logistics issues, it took a little longer to complete the remodel, and we needed to be proactive with following up to make sure we knew when items were being delivered.

Overall, we are very pleased with the bathrooms and found the staff at Blackstone Kitchen & Bath conscientious, flexible and pleasant to work with.“

“Clockwork Builders is an outstanding company, and they did an incredible job with my whole-house renovation. It was a huge project involving kitchen and multiple bathroom upgrades, and I had a very detailed and particular design in mind - they executed it to perfection, and I could not be more pleased with the finished project.

John Thornton who was the on-site supervisor was outstanding - he was attentive to every request down to the tiniest detail, communicated well, and really made you feel like the whole project was in capable hands. There was nothing that I requested that wasn't done - the final product has turned out truly magazine-worthy. He also is an incredibly kind person and all the team members were equally polite, professional, and genuinely nice people - hard to find anywhere in my experience.

The owner John Riley set the tone from the outset - he was extremely detailed in his approach, and responded to every question and concern in a manner that made it clear that he is knowledgeable, ethical, and committed to delivering the highest quality of work. This approach carried through over the course of the entire project - when there were minor mishaps, there was no deflecting blame or shifting responsibility - any issues that came up were fixed promptly and without extra cost to me.

As far as the level of craftsmanship and execution, I was incredibly impressed (and my expectations were high to begin with). Their tile specialist in particular is extremely skilled and detailed - he laid out complex designs to perfection; there was no aspect of the installation that was rushed or overlooked. The whole crew was made up of people who are good at what they do, show up on time, and consistently deliver high quality work. The company is aptly named - the project was completed in the timeframe that was outlined (or very close) despite multiple requests from me for additions to the scope of the work.

As far as pricing, I think it's very fair for the quality of work that you get - they were not the cheapest or the most expensive when I got ballpark estimates, but I do think that they provided the best value for the money. Additionally, they provide a 2-year warranty on their work, while most companies only provide 1 year.

Would recommend this company wholeheartedly to anyone looking to do a home renovation project, large or small - having had family members and friends who have done their own renovations recently, I've not known anyone to do a better job.
