“The very first review of this company cannot be correct. There are many companies with the name "Prestige". I am certain that this review is not for Prestige Home Improvement and Plumbing. I have used this company for 17 years!! Steve and Jim are the lead guys. They are super trustworthy and will not start a job until they know they can finish it. If there should be any kind of delay, you are notified ahead of time and understand why. They finish what they start in a very timely manner. The work is EXCELLENT!! I felt comfortable leaving Steve and Jim in my home while I worked. THEY ARE THE BEST!!They built an entire addition on my home in 2001 and have done many jobs for me since then. You can call them for any job! They have installed hot water tanks for me, replaced toilets, redone bathrooms, repaired siding, and built decks. I have referred them to many neighbors and friends who have also been very happy.“

Jay would stop by to make sure everything was being taken care of for us and to address any questions that we might have had about our different projects; which were masonry and a water drainage system for our backyard. Rafael, our designer, did a great design that we loved and was readily available throughout the process. The team of builders were kind, quick and worked as neatly as they could. “Had a very positive experience meeting with Heather multiple times while doing an update on our laundry room. She was so helpful, not only with products from them, but letting me borrow a sample to help me pick out flooring at another store as well. She provides exceptional service.

I am also very grateful for her encouraging me to go with my idea of considering a bolder color for my new base cabinets instead of trying to match the upper white ones (which we were not replacing). We picked an Indigo blue wash and they are stunning!

“We had our master bathroom and powder room remodeled by Blackstone Kitchen & Bath at the same time, and we are delighted with the results for both. Both designs were done by Khalid. He took the time to answer our questions, and help us select items from the showroom that incorporated our tastes while being mindful of our budget. He was also willing to send us some 3D renderings to look at before putting any money down. Our production team consisted of Eko (project manager) and Ernesto (contractor). Ernesto was skillful and efficient in all stages of the remodeling work. Eko kept us apprised of each step for both projects as it became necessary to pivot from the initial plan (see below). However, he kept the projects moving forward, readily answered all our questions and explained what needed to be done when we encountered the issue of the floor not being level. He also took the time to find the grout we wanted, which required driving around to several different locations to find it.

We had a few critiques of the remodeling process: the vanities did take some time to come in (~ 4 weeks); early on it was discovered that one of the vanities was ordered in the wrong color so a replacement was needed, but it took another 4 weeks for it to come in; the shelving unit in the linen closet was on backorder, and it was initially difficult to pin down an exact date of delivery.
Because of the logistics issues, it took a little longer to complete the remodel, and we needed to be proactive with following up to make sure we knew when items were being delivered.

Overall, we are very pleased with the bathrooms and found the staff at Blackstone Kitchen & Bath conscientious, flexible and pleasant to work with.“

He was extremely thorough, installing electrical and caulking around the sump pump for the radon pipe. The price was incredibly reasonable for the size of my basement, and Tim was a pleasure to work with. I would HIGHLY recommend using Tim and this company for radon needs.“
