9315 Snowden River Pkwy M, Columbia“I have a female Siberian husky (Lukin)… some of you may have heard her reenacting a scene from “Balto” as I pull up to Wagging Lounge… I am the lady who takes ear plugs out in the parking lot…. Our baby wolf LOVES Wagging Lounge (as I have alluded to above). I also LOVE Wagging Lounge! It’s so incredibly nice to know that my “ride or die” is somewhere I truly trust and know will take the absolute best care of her. There is a reason Wagging Lounge is “best of Howard County” every year since… 2018 or so. The staff is amazing to the fur kids and their humans. The facility is always clean, has indoor and outdoor space, also has AC!! You cannot go wrong with WL. Don’t even bother checking anywhere else! The staff makes Thanksgiving dinner for dogs who are boarding over the holiday… what else do you need to know?!“

7515 Brooklyn Bridge Rd, Laurel“I highly recommend Rocky Gorge for emergency treatment and any surgical procedure your animal needs. Rocky Gorge Animal Hospital is an economical piece of heaven filled with talented, compassionate, knowledgeable, thorough, beyond friendly and truly remarkable angels. My dog was seriously injured in an accident and needed a difficult orthopedic surgery. Dr. Morris, who also performed my family dog's ACL surgery, performed my dogs fractured humerus surgery exceeding well, especially given its level of difficulty, while being extremely conscientious of the cost to the customer. They have been a Godsend in performing my dogs difficult surgery while giving her the best care I could ask for, using a laser to close up her wounds after surgery, and doing this all with the foundation in mind to make it as affordable to the client as possible for example not charging me for suture removal. They provided an estimate that included a low end and high end of the procedure, and I always felt that they followed a code of ethics that I never felt like my dogs care and treatment was being exploited and capitalized on but the very opposite. I'm so grateful for Rocky Gorge because they took beyond exceptional care for my dog during surgeries and procedures and made it so without leaving me in years of debt. Thank you to the incredible orthopedic surgeon Dr. Morris, and all the staff, technicians and pharmacists that help set my mind at ease during the extremely difficult time for me going through a serious accident with my dog. I am beyond blessed for the angels and the immaculate, detailed surgeries, procedures and post-op care they provided for not only my dog, but myself as well!“

With the guidance and support of Savannah and Pet-U-Cation, my dog has made great progress and I have gained confidence in handling her. We have both learned somuch! I’ve utilized many of their offerings, including the Canine Good Citizen course, Sunday Wellness drop-in classes, daycare, and boarding. I know that the Pet-U-Cation team will provide my dog with thoughtful training and care that is tailored to her needs.“

She had jackets on them when it was cold and I was able to have an awesome weekend with no worries. Domestic Pet Care was convenient and affordable. When you have a trip that you are not able to bring the entire family (pets), Domestic Pet Care will take care of the pets for you and treat them like family for you.“

9050 Red Branch Rd, Columbia“We love PUPS Dog Obedience Training. We have a high-drive, working Labrador retriever named Mason who has gone through the puppy course, 8-week obedience course, rally courses, and competitive obedience training with Karen and Kristin. They have always been there for us every step of the way through success at his first trial, and the many challenges that come with training a dominant, high-drive dog. I daresay that Mason would be a VERY different dog if not for our training with PUPS (and not in a good way).
For the last few years, we have also boarded Mason with PUPS when we are away. As stated previously, Mason is a high-drive, dominant dog. Karen and Kristin are about the only people we trust to keep Mason safe, stimulated, and healthy when we are out of town. PUPS boarding is unique in that they do not let dogs run/play together in a big room, unlike many other kennels in the area. Kristin provides many long walks for the dogs that are staying, plays with them individually, and they even have a dog treadmill used for some dogs if it is too hot to exercise/walk outside. PUPS also communicates very well throughout your dog's stay and administers any sort of medication your dog needs. Kristin has even taken our dog to the vet in the past in an emergency situation.
Mason is 11 years old, and we will continue to lean on PUPS as long as we have training/boarding needs. When the time comes (hopefully not too soon), we'll use PUPS for any future dogs we have as well. Karen and Kristin are truly the best! I cannot recommend or review them highly enough.“

Carroll Thumel, DVM, 4866 Montgomery Road, Ellicott City“We take our three dogs to Countryside, and have worked with every vet there now during the past three years. Always very happy with the above and beyond service from the vets, the techs, and the front of the house staff who are friendly and helpful every visit. I almost hate referring people to Countryside because they are frequently busy and it can be a challenge to get appointments - although on several occasions now when one of my dogs has an immediate problem they have accommodated us for same-day visits. We trust them with the lives of our cherished ladies - I'm not sure there can be a higher compliment than that.“

3531 Chestnut Ave, Baltimore“We signed our rescue dog up for Basic Obedience and Elizabeth was great! She was so patient and great at explaining things, and empowering us to be effective and consistent trainers of our own dog. We all learned so much and appreciated having her to answer our specific questions. The class was small enough that everyone got personal attention. Plus added bonus, everyone was spaced out and outside with masks on, so it felt very safe in the midst of the pandemic. We're so grateful!“

“My Mom was in and out of the hospital for most of the summer and found out she would need surgery for her cancer in November. I live in North Carolina, and we were concerned for her two cats. I called her vet, and they recommended Love Those Paws. While she was in the hospital, they came every day and took care of them when I could not be there. When she got home from surgery in December, she could not take care of them because of the bending and all that goes into it. Annette and Dawnette have been there ever since then and not only have taken care of the two cats but have gone well beyond to check in and help my mom. From getting her mail to coming back after hours to bring in the Chewy package that comes late sometimes to Vacuuming and even shoveling some snow a few weeks ago. They give her companionship and the knowing that her cats will be taken care. Through all of this the last few months they have made life so much easier. Thank you to both of these ladies, James“
