“My name is Tobin & I'm a very adorable 16 month old female American Bully (XL). My “pet parents” first took me to Pet-U-Cation back in November, and I honestly wasn’t really sure why we needed to go, after all, I love all dogs, kids, and people of any kind. Training wasn’t something I really thought I needed. I had so many friends at my old daycare, but sometimes the older dogs didn’t really understand that I look intimidating and mature, but I’m really just a puppy who sometimes doesn’t understand when someone doesn’t want to be my friend. Anyways, I met Savannah, and she said I could come to day training and if I listened and understood the rules and boundaries, I could come to daycare. I’ve been going at least two times a week since February and I just love my days there! Susan helped me learn confidence with the flirt pole and how to consistently heel and come when called and now that I am a better listener I get to play with so many dog friends! The structure and consistency I get there has made it so I don’t get in any trouble at home anymore. I’m halfway through my Canine Good Citizen course and am walking so nicely on a leash and looking forward to passing my test. I’ve even gotten to spend a few nights at my “trainers” house and she makes me work hard and reinforces my learning, but also is a big softie. I wish I came here back when I was rescued from BARCs, but I plan on doing daycare FOREVER and anytime my people are out of town I’m definitely staying with Savannah!“

“My dog Brodie (1.5 years old) and I enrolled in the basic obedience class this winter. It was such a positive experience for me and my dog. I wanted to get him around other dogs in a neutral space with structure. I never expected to see such a positive shift in his training. The tools and techniques they give you are a GAME CHANGER. “This place is great! I have a diabetic cat who needed to be boarded requiring 2 shots of insulin a day. Not only was he so happy and healthy coming back, Dr. Sand was one of the most knowledgeable vets on feline diabetes. He provided me with a plethora of knowledge on the condition, best diets and how to maintain and recommended insulin treatments I didn't even know existed. He will be my primary for my 11 yr old boy now. I even think they brushed him everyday too, because he came back so soft.“

“What an awesome, informative behind-the-scenes tour of how the National Aquarium runs. We loved learning about the quarantine period, how animals are cared for, and the rescue operations. Our guide was very informative and engaging - big kudos to Andy! The 90 minute tour covered so much information and we were so happy to have paid the extra fee to visit this center. Highly recommend! (FYI they have a small parking lot that they let you use free of charge during the tour with entry 30 minutes before).“

“My Mom was in and out of the hospital for most of the summer and found out she would need surgery for her cancer in November. I live in North Carolina, and we were concerned for her two cats. I called her vet, and they recommended Love Those Paws. While she was in the hospital, they came every day and took care of them when I could not be there. When she got home from surgery in December, she could not take care of them because of the bending and all that goes into it. Annette and Dawnette have been there ever since then and not only have taken care of the two cats but have gone well beyond to check in and help my mom. From getting her mail to coming back after hours to bring in the Chewy package that comes late sometimes to Vacuuming and even shoveling some snow a few weeks ago. They give her companionship and the knowing that her cats will be taken care. Through all of this the last few months they have made life so much easier. Thank you to both of these ladies, James“

“I moved to the area with my dog about two years ago, and I truly don’t know what I would have done without Rey. From day one, he has been incredibly reliable, flexible, and accommodating—often making last-minute adjustments to Sosa’s stays to help with my hectic schedule.
What really sets Rey apart is how thoughtful he is. He’s sent Sosa home with homemade treats and even made him feel extra special on his birthday. It’s clear that he genuinely cares about the dogs he looks after.
Sosa can be a bit anxious around strangers (and in general), but Rey immediately put both of us at ease. His experience really shows in the way he handles Sosa’s quirks with patience and confidence. Now, Rey is one of Sosa’s favorite people—I always joke that he’s so happy there, he might not even want to come home!
I truly haven’t considered trusting anyone else with my dog. Rey has been such a blessing, and I can’t recommend him highly enough.“

“We take our three dogs to Countryside, and have worked with every vet there now during the past three years. Always very happy with the above and beyond service from the vets, the techs, and the front of the house staff who are friendly and helpful every visit. I almost hate referring people to Countryside because they are frequently busy and it can be a challenge to get appointments - although on several occasions now when one of my dogs has an immediate problem they have accommodated us for same-day visits. We trust them with the lives of our cherished ladies - I'm not sure there can be a higher compliment than that.“

? Small local vet I can get to within 5 minutes! I believe they unfortunately only have 2 (?) rooms per patient. So this means wait time here might be a bit longer than normal if not busy. Yet, it’s pretty cozy and homey.
? Everyone seems pretty friendly and they are very patient with my cats skittish nature.
?I haven’t had issues yet with them!“

“My dog has been attending classes at Coventry since 2022. She has participated in Kranky K9s, rally, tricks, trally, treibball, and nose work and has loved all of her classes. Going to school is the highlight of her week! Liz and the staff use positive training techniques based on their up to date knowledge of dog behavior and extensive experience. This has us helped us build a strong relationship with our dog who was adopted as an adult and had reactivity issues, and it has enabled my dog to develop much needed confidence as she interacts with other people, dogs, and her environment. They closely observe each dog and customize their plan and approach so that every dog can have a positive learning experience.“
