Very smart and patient with everyone and really
knows how to teach anyone.. I love this place. It’s more than a gym or fighting academy to me. This place is home❤️?“

10132 Baltimore National Pike#F&G, Ellicott City“We cannot say enough positive things about this Tae Kwon Do school and its instructors. Master Chong, Shin and Daniel consistently lead with compassion and respect, modeling these values in everything they do. We have been with this Tae kwon do family for 4 years now!
Their motto to always “try your best” goes far beyond the Tae Kwon Do mat. It has become something we repeat at home, at school, and in other sports, and we’ve seen firsthand how it helps build confidence, discipline, and perseverance.
One of the most impressive aspects of this program is how they involve their middle and high school athletes in mentoring the younger students. The benefits for both groups are amazing to see. Over the last four years, our son has grown in confidence and formed meaningful friendships.
The impact these masters have on their students reaches well beyond martial arts. They truly make a difference in young lives, and we are incredibly grateful for their dedication and mentorship.“

Whether you're an adult or a parent, this is a phenomenal place for martial arts training. Master Huang is a professional. This place is an investment that pays ten-fold for self-confidence, manners, and physical fitness. It's hard to find a community as supportive and encouraging as this one.“

1701 Midway Rd suite c, Odenton“We had my son’s 8th birthday party here and it was amazing! The instructors, Christian and Sophia, were full of energy, kept every kid engaged (even with the huge age gap of 3 y/o to 10), and made the whole experience so much fun. The company handled everything — from leading the activities to providing the food — which made the day completely stress-free for me. Highly recommend for a great, high-energy and well-organized party experience!“

1750 Union Ave Unit A2, Baltimore“I like Aikido because it does not emphasize the use of force or violence, but rather focuses on how to use your opponent strength and momentum to your advantage. this means that even if you are small or not very strong, that you can still do this Marshall art well. it is also a great way to develop your body awareness and practice mindfulness. As someone who has been working from home for the past two years, the Dojo has also served as a great source for community for me. everyone here is very friendly and welcoming to students of all levels of experience. The membership is very affordable, and I believe your first two classes are free. I highly recommend anyone who is interested in martial art or is looking for a community to come check it out.“

1031 Benfield Blvd, Millersville“Kick Xplosion is the best thing that has happened to my son. We are very fortunate to have found them. Their after school program is wonderful and my son is so happy. Most days, he doesn't want to go home! He gets the opportunity to play in the gymnasium after being in school all day, which he adores. He also takes Taekwondo class 2x a week, which has been an amazing experience. It's the perfect balance.
Master Curtis and Mrs. Brittany are wonderful people. They genuine love what they do and it shows. My son has grown in many ways. He has gained so much confidence over the past few years, and much of this I attribute to Master Curtis and Mrs. Brittany.
I HIGHLY recommend Kick Xplosion for aftercare and/or Taekwondo. You wouldn't regret it.“

1400 Frederick Rd, Catonsville“Great class, great teacher, he’s methodical and practices form very well and thoroughly, as well as sword and staff, and elements of qigong within the style. Which qigong is very important for actual body health and dynamics. Ba Gua and Tai Chi are both internal style martial arts, if there is no qigong then it’s not internal. And true strength comes from that not just muscle. Sadly those that don’t know, just don’t know.
Tai Chi- great class , mostly older folks (men and more so women), that have been in class for over 12 years. Myself included, great form and technique. One should definitely stop in for a class.
Ba Gua- excellent class great form and technique, great with weapons, qigong mixed into the class not every class but throughout the year does segments on qigong, because again, this is an internal art. Again most of his students we’ve been here for over a decade or so. He is thoughtful and patient to show proper technique and form. And classmates are great to support this. Not sure about that 1 star. I studied Aikido for 25 years prior, still do on occasion and I’ve never had anyone here make fun of me or push me out because of it. Not sure who that was, but that may be a perception issue with that individual. Many of us here have studied other martial arts before coming to Ba Gua.
Anyways I cannot recommend. Sifu Greg enough. Very friendly, very knowable, great form and technique. Good seminars throughout the year too! I’ve always thought, what better way to get a good workout and learn to defend yourself!!“

I enjoy the class sizes, not to small not to big. They do follow the school systems schedule like most places and has after care for locals. Pricing is fair as well.“

8975 Guilford Rd, Columbia“My personal and honest opinion.. At beginning I thought it would not last for long for me but I was wrong.. Scott is a professional teacher and a leader more than a instructor.. He communicates with every single person in the class and tries to make the process right - even if you fail at first, he pushes you up and teaches you the way it needs to be..
If you want to start Thai Box you dont need to research and waste your time, this is the place you need to enroll the program..
It would be perfect if we had heavy bags, it is the only reason a star had cut off..“

1015 Generals Hwy Suite A, Crownsville“My son has been training at Synergy Dojang for over two year now, and I couldn't be happier with his experience. The instructor, Ms Lacy, is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about teaching Tang Soo Do. The classes are well-structured, challenging yet accessible to all skill levels. The sense of community here is amazing; his fellow students are supportive and encouraging. Whether you're a beginner or more advanced, Synergy Dojang is a fantastic place to learn and grow in the art of Tang Soo Do.“

“I have been training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for nearly 15 years, and after visiting many gyms in the DMV area, Crazy 88 stands out. The instruction is technical and well structured, and the culture on the mats is focused but respectful. The coaching staff has strong competitive experience, and that shows in the details they emphasize in class. Whether you are a beginner or preparing for competition, you are pushed to improve in a positive environment.
They also have a great after school kids program. My own children train there recreationally and have had a very positive experience, while more serious students have access to competition focused classes. The facility is clean, well run, and professional. After trying several gyms in the area, this is the one I would confidently recommend.
They even provide convenient amenities like towels, showers, shampoo, and soap, which makes it easy to train before or after work.“
