Great gym with great people, hard rolls, and high quality instruction!! Highly recommend for beginners and upper belts alike, for both hobbyists and competitors. Donations go to their non-profit youth program which is a great cause. Extremely happy to call this place my home gym for the past 3 years!
I've been training at Guardian for more than 2 years now and would highly recommend to anyone interested in jiu jitsu. For people who are just starting out, classes are very approachable and inclusive. For people who are experienced, there is a wealth of knowledge from the instructors and other upper belt regulars. Everyone is a tough roll! Locura and Jarrid bring a great vibe to every class they teach.
I consider Guardian my home gym whenever I’m visiting in the city, and one of my best friends trains here. The instructors are great communicators AND very skilled, and the vibe is warm and welcoming. You’ll feel at home whether you are a purple belt or brand new to the art.This, combined with their mission to offer FREE training to Baltimore’s youth, should be enough for anybody to want to come in and support. Love this place!
