I have been training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for nearly 15 years, and after visiting many gyms in the DMV area, Crazy 88 stands out. The instruction is technical and well structured, and the culture on the mats is focused but respectful. The coaching staff has strong competitive experience, and that shows in the details they emphasize in class. Whether you are a beginner or preparing for competition, you are pushed to improve in a positive environment.
They also have a great after school kids program. My own children train there recreationally and have had a very positive experience, while more serious students have access to competition focused classes. The facility is clean, well run, and professional. After trying several gyms in the area, this is the one I would confidently recommend.
They even provide convenient amenities like towels, showers, shampoo, and soap, which makes it easy to train before or after work.

It’s Alex’s shop and he has the waiting room separated from the parlor so when he’s doing your cut it’s just you and him which is nice. Someone can’t sit there and chop it up with him other than yourself while he’s focused cutting your hair. Very professional atmosphere mixed with a laid back vibe. Thuan is one of if not the best barber in the area. San, the owner, is polite and you can tell that he loves his shop. They offer free adult beverages and water and juice for the kiddos. They engage in good conversation, whether it's sports, what's in the news today, or just about life in general. Been coming here for cuts for 7+ years! Normal wait time is about 10-15 minutes. I always request the older gentleman to cut my hair. Always have pleasant experiences with this barber shop. Prices are very fair and I tip about 20% usually.

Thankful to have stumbled into the salon . Marian goes above and beyond when it comes to accommodating my busy schedule. Always making sure my nails and eyebrows are on point!! Getting great service at a great price is rare these days but you get both at New City Nails. On top of that Marian is always bringing me some sort of snack and refreshment to enjoy while I get my pedicure. Recommend Tyler for them pedi's. He works magic on the feet !! He's a perfectionist and takes his time getting your feet just right .

This is my second time at this location. My nail tech relocated to this area. I had lost contact with her and she used to work at the Odenton location. She sent me a text of her new location. I'm glad she did. I always loved the way she did my nails. She's very creative with designs. If I show her a picture she will make it happen. I love this particular design and had to display it. I normally make my appointments on a weekday because weekends can become very crowded. They also take walk ins. Not sure how long the wait would be. They also have parking available on the front and backside of the building. I definitely will be returning to check out their pedicure services as well.

I have had several appointments in the past couple of years with Sophia, and she is absolutely amazing and a true master of her work. My first appointment with her was for a haircut (layered cut), which she did a great job and at the same time, I had a good chat with her about the possibility of trying some subtle highlights on my hair. I was completely new to the world of hair colors, and she gave a really good primer on things that I could try. I got partial highlights in my next appointment with her and I was totally blown away with her work. I have been a regular customer here and would highly recommend this place. Also, I love the fact that the stylists do not change frequently at the hair station. All staff working here are very professional and friendly.

Come to this no-frills salon for a fast, efficient and affordable cut - I was in and out in about 20 minutes for a regular cut, and was really impressed at how quickly everything was done. The staff is all friendly and the salon has a real family business feel to it. Would recommend!

I love Ojas Columbia because it’s less than ten minutes from home. The atmosphere in the waiting room is very peaceful. It provides such a sense of calm. Kory provided great service and helped me with my skin by offering a product sold there which proved to be a complete game-changer.
I’m from out of state and decided to give this spot a try while in town. She work wonders on my body, I’m very relaxed and thrilled with the overall experience. I will go back before I head back home and will make sure I visit again when I’m here. She listened to what I wanted and delivered nicely.

JA Smith has been INCREDIBLE in not only helping us through our plumbing issues, but taking the time to explain things we aren't sure about. Sharon is lovely to speak to and always helpful. Greg spent a good 20 minutes on the phone with me explaining how a boiler worked! And Rich has saved us twice now - we have only lived there 3 weeks! Cannot recommend JA Smith enough!

When I moved into this house, it had 30 amps coming in. While I had upgraded the electric to the house, I still had very few outlets and plaster walls. I needed outlets in two of my bathrooms. One bathroom was half-tiled up the wall. Jay Outland listened carefully to our needs and concerns and crafted a plan to ensure we would get what was needed and still be within code. He scheduled our project within the time we needed to get the work done. His team (Ben and Luke) arrived on-time and with all that they needed to navigate wires to our two bathrooms. Their work was meticulous. Both worked tirelessly and ensured that the area was cleaned up before they left. Ben assured us that we only need to call if we had any questions or concerns about the job.
I've lived in my home for over 30 years and I have had some electric done in the past. Honestly, I wish I had found Jay and his crew years ago. He's the kind of electrician that one always hopes to find. I'll never hire anyone else at this point forward.

I indeed personally recommend Cameron Insulation team that just updated our home attic insulation. The staff was definitely friendly and professional. They were so complete, they placed and taped heavy plastic over our floors and stairs so as not to have their equipment disturb our home. They also made sure we were pleased with their work, by actually showing us all the new insulation in the attics, before they thoroughly cleaned up after themselves I was impressed...
We had our kitchen renovated. We had the cabinets, countertops, handles, and backlash done. The entire experience with Matt and BST Design and Build was great. The best part is we could go to their store and pick out everything in their small showroom. Matt recommended we move the refrigerator from one side of the room to the other, and that was a game changer. We needed more storage, and we got it. We had a specific budget, and Matt was excellent to work with. Matt gave us a start date and timeline, and they completed it on time. Put in a fantastic looking stamped concrete patio for our backyard, in a really reasonable timeframe, both in terms of when they started and how long it took to finish; they came every morning for several mornings to make progress while working around the weather. They also laid down some grass seed around the patio, and have even offered to plant additional grass seed in the fall later on since the current seed is having a little bit of trouble coming up in the super heat of Maryland Julys. Manny is a really genuine and great guy, and very easy to work with. Not to mention that they were one of the cheaper quotes out of the five quotes we got. Highest marks possible!

I work in healthcare, and have seen a wide array of doctors. There are great healers that sometimes you just luck out and find one. I'm writing this to tell you there's no luck needed here since myself, my family and many of my friends already know Dr. Plotkin and his team are at the highest level.
I have been taking my pets here on and off for some years now. With my current cat, the service here has been exceptional. The staff at the front desk is polite, and accomodating. You can feel that they care about the animals that come in. The doctor is amazing as well, bringing up points and concerns that I may not be aware of. They always give me options and never force me to purchase a service, as well as explaining all charges that will be due for each visit (no surprises). With my cat's most recent accident, they have been very attentive to his changes and needs, and they address all concerns during each visit. I also receive a follow up call, which means a lot.
