“I haven't used Pearle Vision in a number of years but am so glad that I decided to return. The experience was amazing! The optometrist conducted a very thorough exam. I loved that he took the time to do the exam and not in a hurry. He answered all my questions and was very engaging. The assistant who helped me pick out my glasses was wonderful as well. She explained my options to me and completed the ordering of my glasses proficiently. In fact, everyone in this particular Pearle Vision were just phenomenal!!“

“My family and I have been seeing Dr. Brian for years, since I was very little. Now that I have my own little one that is having eye issues, I immediately went to Woolf. My daughter is five years old and has a speech and development delay. I was worried about how she would be during the tests, but Dr. Levy was so patient and kind and took our time getting the tests done. She even made my daughter feel more comfortable by doing manual eye testing instead of the machines. I cannot express how much I love all the doctors and staff here. Highly recommend to everyone.“

“EDIT: I’m updating my rating from 2/5 stars to 4/5 stars due to the diligence on Ms. Renee and the staff at Affordable Optics. As I mentioned before, the women in this office have been nothing but kind to me, even when I sometimes let my frustrations get the best of me. They were honest and as helpful as they could be. They comped another pair of glasses for me (beautiful by the way), as well as a supply of contact lenses.

I really appreciate everything they’ve done and the fact that they didn’t let me slip through the cracks ♥️

I just sat on hold the entirety of my lunch break (over 30 minutes) waiting to follow up on a pair of glasses I ordered June 4th. Today is August 22nd. According to them it’s the labs fault. Honestly though, it doesn’t matter who’s at fault. I can’t see and I really am in need of glasses. I asked for a refund for the glasses at the beginning of August, since it had been two months already, and Affordable Optics basically said they didn’t think it was fair to issue a refund if they didn’t do anything wrong. We went back and forth for about 15 minutes that day.

Well, that was 3 weeks ago. Today I give 2 stars because I can’t overlook the fact that everyone in the office is pleasant and kind, but no one takes accountability for the shortcomings of their processes. Somehow, they find a way to make this long wait for my glasses my fault or the labs fault.

There is a BIG opportunity for improvement with their organization, communication, and accountability.“

“I saw Dr Azman a couple years ago as I was suffering from severe dry eyes and having issues with past corneal neovascularization in my right eye. He is a fantastic eye doctor. Not only is he compassionate, but he is very thorough in treating complex issues. He treated my dry eyes and recommended a long term solution: scleral contact lenses (a complex process). We went through the process together and every step of the way, he made sure I was comfortable -and most importantly, my eyes were ok. I don't see him anymore as I had cataract surgery (and live far away) but I recommend him to anyone with or without eye issues. He is one of the best eye doctors I have ever seen. I still think of him often which is why I decided to finally write this review (even though it has been some time) since I have seen him.“

“Even if I couldn't see out my new glasses PWO gets 5 stars. Not only are they probably the only shop in Baltimore where the staff doesn't hate their jobs, they seem to absolutely live for vision care. You get meaningful feedback -- Jordan* is patient and will get as wonky as you want, plus he actually designed the frames I picked. I submitted for out-of-network insurance benefit and net I might pay a bit more out-of-pocket than I might elsewhere, but PWO customer service is worth any delta and -- watch out -- optical providers notoriously rig pricing based on carrier reimbursement; here that's not a factor. If you wear progressives, you play roulette with the typical optician; Jordan* fit mine precisely, which is no mean feat. FULL DISCLOSURE: I already had my rx and did not get an exam from Dr Tony, although I overheard customers telling how great she is.
