Owings Mills“Tanzi tremendously helped my reactive rescue dog shortly after we got him. Before rescuing him, he never had a stable home and was in and out of shelters for his first 2 years of life. After my husband and I adopted him, he was extremely reactive to trucks, other dogs, wildlife, and overall is an anxious dog. He also would become very worked up when meeting new people and would jump on them. Tanzi not only helped us read his body language and understand his needs, but she also taught us amazing techniques for what to do when he encounters a trigger. She came to our home for each lesson and even met us at a local park to help with his reactivity. He is a bigger dog and I was worried he would be too reactive for training, but Tanzi handled him with ease, kindness, and confidence. I have nothing but amazing things to say about her services and I highly respect her and her advice. Her dedication and love for dogs shines brightly and I will always recommend her to anyone looking for a dog trainer!!!!“

1201 Brandy Springs Rd, Parkton“Hereford Bed & Biscuit has taken care of my dogs for 10+ years. I'm always happy with the daycare, grooming & boarding. They offer another service, canine massage therapy. After a surgical ACL repair, I asked Meg to massage my 'baby' boy. I am so glad I did. The results are phenomenal! We are back to 5+ mile walks with no limping or signs of pain.“

I use to live in the city and moved to the county... so driving back is not convenient... I do it because of my trust in Kendall and Dr.McIntyre... they so so professional and have helped me take care of my 3 pups and now two. Im grateful to have them!“

17110 Ridge Rd, Upperco“Absolutely fantastic! This was our first time boarding here. Our dog is an extremely anxious girl, so having to board her makes me nervous. Upon arrival the owner sat with us outside the building until our dog was calm and ready to go in. We did this at each step of the journey to the kennel our dog would be using. I have never had individualized care like this at any boarding facility! I was able to leave our dog there knowing she was going to be taken care of.“

I love this husband and wife team. My baby is doing better than ever. Thank you Thank you.“

716 York Rd, Towson“I've gone here 20 years now and won't go anywhere else. I've boarded there and always been happy. The vets are top notch with Dr Fioramonti explains the issues and will listen to what you have to say and for my specialty cats like the diabetics Dr Sand will go through complex issues. Now the one comment I hear from others is the building is old and the offices and waiting area is dated and looks old. But I don't go there for the ambiance and if the wait time can sometimes be a little long it's because they are taking time and not rushing people in and out“

“There is so much I could say here, but what it really comes down to is the fact that Sit Means Sit saved our puppy from being rehomed or worse. We rescued a pit bull puppy, a black one at that, who showcases some fairly severe issues such as extreme biting behavior (in short... aggressiveness). We are very experienced dog owners and had both a rescued pit bull and a rescued chihuahua until they passed of old age, and we've also fostered a variety of different breeds with a variety of different behavioral issues. However, after trying every technique we've ever known, we realized that it just wasn't enough to help this pup. We met with SMS and I have to admit that we were a little iffy on the collar. I had never used or needed one before, but they were literally our last hope before we had to remove or make a serious decision about this pup. It's an investment but they were literally our last hope. That last hope turned in to our saving grace. Kooper responds very well to the collar and its helped him to understand what is expected of him when we give commands. It helps give him focus, and after the first day we really did notice some immediate improvement, which was not at all expected. Their training... this isnt a place they just keep your pup in a kennel all day. They work with them throughout the day, and then they work with you. Yes, you read that right. Their training isnt just about getting a dog to listen, its a also about learning how to communicate effectively with your dog and understand them just as you want them to understand you. I could really write a novel here on all of the ways, big and small, that SMS has helped our pup and us but Im sure Google would think it was written by a novelist. Listen, if you love your dog and you are serious about their training, go see them at SMS. It's an investment, but it works. It saves lives (human and doggo!!). I could show you the bite mark photos as proof. They helped with that, and now we can enjoy our pup and he can enjoy us. Kooper now goes here for daycare and it takes everything in him to follow his manners walking up to the door. He loves it there. To all of the SMS staff, Carmen, Nathan, Abby, and especially to his first love (trainer), Liz B (we are so in debt to you), Beth and Tamar... I will never forget how you've helped us.“
