Open 24 today
1030-D Leslie Ave, Catonsville8AM - 5PM
10328 Owen Brown Rd, Columbia“?Review is based on first time experience
? Small local vet I can get to within 5 minutes! I believe they unfortunately only have 2 (?) rooms per patient. So this means wait time here might be a bit longer than normal if not busy. Yet, it’s pretty cozy and homey.
? Everyone seems pretty friendly and they are very patient with my cats skittish nature.
?I haven’t had issues yet with them!“

9315 Snowden River Pkwy M, Columbia“I have a female Siberian husky (Lukin)… some of you may have heard her reenacting a scene from “Balto” as I pull up to Wagging Lounge… I am the lady who takes ear plugs out in the parking lot…. Our baby wolf LOVES Wagging Lounge (as I have alluded to above). I also LOVE Wagging Lounge! It’s so incredibly nice to know that my “ride or die” is somewhere I truly trust and know will take the absolute best care of her. There is a reason Wagging Lounge is “best of Howard County” every year since… 2018 or so. The staff is amazing to the fur kids and their humans. The facility is always clean, has indoor and outdoor space, also has AC!! You cannot go wrong with WL. Don’t even bother checking anywhere else! The staff makes Thanksgiving dinner for dogs who are boarding over the holiday… what else do you need to know?!“

8AM - 8PM
9050 Red Branch Rd, Columbia“We love PUPS Dog Obedience Training. We have a high-drive, working Labrador retriever named Mason who has gone through the puppy course, 8-week obedience course, rally courses, and competitive obedience training with Karen and Kristin. They have always been there for us every step of the way through success at his first trial, and the many challenges that come with training a dominant, high-drive dog. I daresay that Mason would be a VERY different dog if not for our training with PUPS (and not in a good way).
For the last few years, we have also boarded Mason with PUPS when we are away. As stated previously, Mason is a high-drive, dominant dog. Karen and Kristin are about the only people we trust to keep Mason safe, stimulated, and healthy when we are out of town. PUPS boarding is unique in that they do not let dogs run/play together in a big room, unlike many other kennels in the area. Kristin provides many long walks for the dogs that are staying, plays with them individually, and they even have a dog treadmill used for some dogs if it is too hot to exercise/walk outside. PUPS also communicates very well throughout your dog's stay and administers any sort of medication your dog needs. Kristin has even taken our dog to the vet in the past in an emergency situation.
Mason is 11 years old, and we will continue to lean on PUPS as long as we have training/boarding needs. When the time comes (hopefully not too soon), we'll use PUPS for any future dogs we have as well. Karen and Kristin are truly the best! I cannot recommend or review them highly enough.“
8AM - 7PM
Carroll Thumel, DVM, 4866 Montgomery Road, Ellicott City“We take our three dogs to Countryside, and have worked with every vet there now during the past three years. Always very happy with the above and beyond service from the vets, the techs, and the front of the house staff who are friendly and helpful every visit. I almost hate referring people to Countryside because they are frequently busy and it can be a challenge to get appointments - although on several occasions now when one of my dogs has an immediate problem they have accommodated us for same-day visits. We trust them with the lives of our cherished ladies - I'm not sure there can be a higher compliment than that.“
8:30AM - 5:30PM
1011 N Washington St, Baltimore“I moved to the area with my dog about two years ago, and I truly don’t know what I would have done without Rey. From day one, he has been incredibly reliable, flexible, and accommodating—often making last-minute adjustments to Sosa’s stays to help with my hectic schedule.
What really sets Rey apart is how thoughtful he is. He’s sent Sosa home with homemade treats and even made him feel extra special on his birthday. It’s clear that he genuinely cares about the dogs he looks after.
Sosa can be a bit anxious around strangers (and in general), but Rey immediately put both of us at ease. His experience really shows in the way he handles Sosa’s quirks with patience and confidence. Now, Rey is one of Sosa’s favorite people—I always joke that he’s so happy there, he might not even want to come home!
I truly haven’t considered trusting anyone else with my dog. Rey has been such a blessing, and I can’t recommend him highly enough.“
6AM - 11PM
5921 Northern Ct, Elkridge“My Mom was in and out of the hospital for most of the summer and found out she would need surgery for her cancer in November. I live in North Carolina, and we were concerned for her two cats. I called her vet, and they recommended Love Those Paws. While she was in the hospital, they came every day and took care of them when I could not be there. When she got home from surgery in December, she could not take care of them because of the bending and all that goes into it. Annette and Dawnette have been there ever since then and not only have taken care of the two cats but have gone well beyond to check in and help my mom. From getting her mail to coming back after hours to bring in the Chewy package that comes late sometimes to Vacuuming and even shoveling some snow a few weeks ago. They give her companionship and the knowing that her cats will be taken care. Through all of this the last few months they have made life so much easier. Thank you to both of these ladies, James“
“What an awesome, informative behind-the-scenes tour of how the National Aquarium runs. We loved learning about the quarantine period, how animals are cared for, and the rescue operations. Our guide was very informative and engaging - big kudos to Andy! The 90 minute tour covered so much information and we were so happy to have paid the extra fee to visit this center. Highly recommend! (FYI they have a small parking lot that they let you use free of charge during the tour with entry 30 minutes before).“
9AM - 7PM
3531 Chestnut Ave, Baltimore“We signed our rescue dog up for Basic Obedience and Elizabeth was great! She was so patient and great at explaining things, and empowering us to be effective and consistent trainers of our own dog. We all learned so much and appreciated having her to answer our specific questions. The class was small enough that everyone got personal attention. Plus added bonus, everyone was spaced out and outside with masks on, so it felt very safe in the midst of the pandemic. We're so grateful!“
9AM - 9PM
9041 Snowden Square Dr, Columbia“We've used this PetsHotel many times now and have been so happy with them every time - great communication before and after ?“
9AM - 6PM
716 York Rd, Towson“This place is great! I have a diabetic cat who needed to be boarded requiring 2 shots of insulin a day. Not only was he so happy and healthy coming back, Dr. Sand was one of the most knowledgeable vets on feline diabetes. He provided me with a plethora of knowledge on the condition, best diets and how to maintain and recommended insulin treatments I didn't even know existed. He will be my primary for my 11 yr old boy now. I even think they brushed him everyday too, because he came back so soft.“
9AM - 9PM
10240 Mill Run Cir Suite 102, Owings Mills“Michelle was so kind and helpful during my shopping process this morning. She was courteous to other patrons and offered to move stocking items out of the way for an unobstructed shopping experience. At check out, she informed me of deals on the PetSmart app and provided me with a scratch and save coupon. Thank you Michelle for making my trip to PetSmart extra cheery!“

“I discovered Pet-U-Cation through the rescue I adopted my dog from - she came to me unsocialized with big feelings and a need to express them. With the guidance and support of Savannah and Pet-U-Cation, my dog has made great progress and I have gained confidence in handling her. We have both learned somuch! I’ve utilized many of their offerings, including the Canine Good Citizen course, Sunday Wellness drop-in classes, daycare, and boarding. I know that the Pet-U-Cation team will provide my dog with thoughtful training and care that is tailored to her needs.“
