“I've had many pets and been to many veterinary practices, but I have never found one as good as the Animal Medical Center of Burtonsville. The front desk is delightful, compassionate and extremely competent. Dr. Robbins is an absolute star. She always returns calls, even if it is after hours. She is knowledgeable and empathetic. If you are looking for a vet. You need to go to this practice. I can't recommend them highly enough.“

? Small local vet I can get to within 5 minutes! I believe they unfortunately only have 2 (?) rooms per patient. So this means wait time here might be a bit longer than normal if not busy. Yet, it’s pretty cozy and homey.
? Everyone seems pretty friendly and they are very patient with my cats skittish nature.

My pups are usually very scared of the vet, but Dr. Cujdik, Joey, and Sara were so gentle, patient, and loving with them. They took their time to make my dogs feel safe and comfortable, and by the end of the visit, my babies were completely relaxed. That alone meant everything to me. “Since I rescued my Honey Bears last January I have had to take her to 2 specialists and 4 other veterinarian clinics all of them has overcharged me and none of them had ever resolved any of her problems or gave her any kind of relief other than telling me to change her dog food which obviously wasn't working so until I found Dr Gary at the highland veterinarian hospital I haven't felt like she was getting the best care until we met this veterinarian he is wonderful and he truly cares about the animals I feel like she is in the best hands possible now with Dr Gary he is amazing with her I can't speak for anybody else's pets but I know what I see and how he treats above all my honey bears but how he treats me and my husband as well with the utmost respect and he doesn't overcharge us or lie to us about what these allergy tests cover and what they don't cover other veterinarians was trying to charge us for $500 hours for each test and said that they couldn't do multiple tests at one time that is not true that is not true if anybody has a problem and needs an allergy test done on their dog please go see Dr Gary“

“Dr. Edwards is a wonderful vet who is proactive with pets and her care of our 13-year old beagle has made huge improvements in the health of our pet. She is much more up to date than our former vet on new treatments for arthritis and initiated thyroid medication that has been hugely helpful as well. The opening of her practice 3 years ago has been a great addition to the neighborhood.“

“I highly recommend Rocky Gorge for emergency treatment and any surgical procedure your animal needs. Rocky Gorge Animal Hospital is an economical piece of heaven filled with talented, compassionate, knowledgeable, thorough, beyond friendly and truly remarkable angels. My dog was seriously injured in an accident and needed a difficult orthopedic surgery. Dr. Morris, who also performed my family dog's ACL surgery, performed my dogs fractured humerus surgery exceeding well, especially given its level of difficulty, while being extremely conscientious of the cost to the customer. They have been a Godsend in performing my dogs difficult surgery while giving her the best care I could ask for, using a laser to close up her wounds after surgery, and doing this all with the foundation in mind to make it as affordable to the client as possible for example not charging me for suture removal. They provided an estimate that included a low end and high end of the procedure, and I always felt that they followed a code of ethics that I never felt like my dogs care and treatment was being exploited and capitalized on but the very opposite. I'm so grateful for Rocky Gorge because they took beyond exceptional care for my dog during surgeries and procedures and made it so without leaving me in years of debt. Thank you to the incredible orthopedic surgeon Dr. Morris, and all the staff, technicians and pharmacists that help set my mind at ease during the extremely difficult time for me going through a serious accident with my dog. I am beyond blessed for the angels and the immaculate, detailed surgeries, procedures and post-op care they provided for not only my dog, but myself as well!“
