Ms. Gale is a beautiful soul who is professional and provides excellent customer service and hair care. I relocated to the DMV 2.5 years ago and she is the ONLY stylist I have used for protective styles (braids, faux locs, crochet, twists, etc). I have booked Ms. Gale’s services over 15 times. Her pricing is reasonable and her policies are more than fair. Additionally, she also services both of my teenage sons. One has started locs and the other has braids. She does a beautiful job with their hair as well. Lastly, my mom, who still lives in NYC, loved my hair so much that she also booked appts with Ms. Gale during her visits to see me and her grandsons. Ms. Gale services her customers in her home which is always welcoming, clean and well-maintained. ALWAYS. I highly recommended Ms. Gales services. She’s a gem. Please do not allow these false one Star/low ratings to dissuade you. Ms. Gale is a gem. She works to ensure you receive the service and style you want for a reasonable price. I'm not going to lie, this salon was challenging at first. I had to come back twice to have my nails fixed. However, on my third visit, I decided to also to go ahead and get a pedicure since I was already here. My pedicure was incredible, neatly done, and I was so relaxed. I had __ fix my acrylic fill and she took her time (graciously) to fix my issues with the shape and all over design of the nail. What really solidified by experience was the fact that every person greeted was treated with respect and kindness. I can tell the staff here is well loved and they love their customers back. I was a first time client and even they treated me as if I was a returning regular. I don't live in the area but greatly look forward to returning.

Waxing in general is not pleasant. But for my first time at this establishment, I have to give major kudos to my wax specialist, Michai. I am hairy. Super hairy. I have been getting wax treatments for a while. It's not my first time at this rodeo. But this was my first time here. Michai's technique is so gentle and so pleasant (I know it's an oxymoron) that I almost fell asleep. Notice I said almost, lol. But she was so gentle that it barely hurt at all. Oh, and her prices are AMAZINGLY REASONABLE! I'd go for her prices alone. I'm definitely booking my next appointment here. I think I've found the best wax specialist in the DMV.

Spartan Plumbing is very responsive. My air conditioner was not working and I submitted a request for service on line. I called to follow up and the staff person said that they were going to try to get out that afternoon. As I patiently waited, I received a call that the tech would be there in about 30 minutes. They were right on time and Matthew had my air conditioner fixed in 10 minutes. He is a very knowledgeable and friendly technician. Please give him a raise! I will always use Spartan for my services. I will continue to be a loyal Spartan customer.

I had an issue with an exterior door on my condo that, according to two other contractors had been installed poorly and was now "warped" and would have to be replaced at great expense. Mark took a look at the door and, while agreeing that the door had been installed poorly, suggested he might only have to re-hang the door. So that is where we began. And finished. He was correct, my door only needed to be rehung and not only did he do a wonderful job, and in an incredibly timely manner, he saved me a LOT of money. So I will be able to use that saved money to fix other things. Mark was easy to work with, reliable and super honest.

I had a great experience working with Aitana’s Home. What really made the difference for me was how they helped with the insurance side of things. We then had Ciminelli upgrade our driveway with Belgian block aprons and borders. Matt's advice improved on our original plan. Our experience with Ciminelli's was exceptional.

One staff member in particular has an amazing personality to entertain you while you’re there with a lot of humor and character impersonations. I was laughing the whole time.
Pride dental team just rocks! My parents and I all come here for our dental services. I was persuaded to come here when I saw how Dr. Pittman and her team took amazing care of my father, who had serious dental issues due to his advanced dementia. Bringing him to Pride Dental has really helped us take better care of my father and given us a lot of support and control over his overall health. Dr. Pittman has literally save two of my dad's loose teeth and put him on an excellent treatment plan to continue to help care for his teeth, which we appreciate.
Furthermore the whole office is well run, amazing staff, well maintained, very clean and professional. Today at my cleaning I was given amazing tips for oral care that I had never once thought of. I'm so glad to have Dr. Pittman and her team as my family dentist.
I had a visit this week with Kaireen, the Dental Hygienist. She was very polite and professional. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed at my appointment while explaining the details of the procedures and additional treatments. As an usher at church, greeting my church family with a handsome smile is something I take pride in. Thank you to the team for their warm and welcoming environment. I'll see you in 6 months!
Dr. Brown and his team are the best in the business! After receiving bad information and lackluster service for a cracked tooth from a different provider, I was eventually referred to Dr. Brown through the Veterans Administration. Dr. Brown's work is phenomenal and he is the epitome of a true professional. His staff is also wonderful. Everyone from the hygienist to administrative staff is pleasant, patient, polite and thorough. I truly appreciate their dedication to dental care and highly recommended them to anyone, veteran or otherwise.
The whole staff are fabulous. I recently moved my Grandson to Smile Pediatric Dental Care, they worked with the previous dental company who electronically transferred his records. The Dentist checked him & confirmed NO Cavities. The Hygienist was kind and very effective scrubbing his teeth, cleaning them, flossing, applied a sealant for extra protection. Just a great experience and if you're looking for a pediatric dentist - this is the place for your youngster!

I had a total loss recently and was recommended to this place. The staff are amazing! Jasmine is so sweet and patient with my questions. Also, very detailed explaining each process during therapy. As for Dr. Glen, he brings so much light in dark moments. He goes over the entire process as I begin to recover from my injuries. He’s very honest and concerning and doesn’t care the amount of questions I give him. Even if it’s the same question. Overall I give this faulty 6 starts.

A truly therapeutic experience. I opted for the 90 min massage, which thankfully included a bit of stretch work as well. All of my paint points were reviewed and addressed. I was essentially in heaven on earth for a while. I recommend this service.
Alanah is an attentive and a personable masseuse! We discussed the pre screening health concerns in depth. I got a 60min + cupping massage and Alanah got to work — identifying my knots and spending extra time on them. I will definitely be booking again with her!
I have a lot of structural issues due to accidents over the last 12 years. I’ve traveled many states trying to get better. I did cranial sacral for a while, that helped a little but it only got me so far. I did rolfing for a while, that helped a lot but when I stopped going once a week the pain came back. It took me to a certain point but stil not far enough. I’ve gone to Mike 4x and I can feel real progress. Structurally I can just tell I am better. We have been working on my more than a decade old hip injury, and I can tell each time that my hip is getting back into place. My third session the hip got better but my lower back felt terrible. It felt like the first day I got the injury (falling off motorcycle). I started to worry but I remember “retracing” does happen (it’s when your body feels old injuries before leaving the body). This pain lasted 4 days and left my body and now I’m all better again. We have more work to do but I’m so very grateful I found Mike. I’ve done so many different types of massages and Shiatsu shintai is a different animal to me. On top of the massage Mike does some getting rid of negative attachments and blockages through shamanic healing. To a lot of people that sounds like hocus pocus, but I really can feel in my body that I feel lighter after these sessions and I just feel lighter and lighter. These sessions are great for people with stuck traumas and injuries. Highly recommend.

Dr. Martin and his team are amazing. So when I found out I needed therapy I saught out Absolute /Fyzical Therapy Center. I previously completed therapy with Dr. Martin 10+ years ago and knew his methods worked for my injured knees. But this time I was in for my back/neck. Again, Dr. Martin evaluated and treated me with care. His team put together a plan that helped improve my back greatly. I walked in with constant pain and I am walking out pain free. I was referred to Laura at Maryland acupuncture by The VA. I have been suffering from nerve pain, and bulging disc pain, along with allergies. Before Laura, I was sent somewhere else, and I didn’t feel like I was getting what I needed. So I asked to go to someone who was very experienced in spiritual, Chinese medicine, and a holistic medicine.
My first time there, I felt very welcome the room and her studio where she agrees guest and then put you in a room is like walking into a different world. You can just feel the energy spirit go through the place the first couple times that we did acupuncture. I was relieved of some of my pain and I could not believe it because I had been to where I couldn’t even walk for the last six months.
I am going twice a week and she always knows exactly where to go when I let her know what’s hurting, and she also notices if like your allergies are messed up, and she definitely has chosen the correct profession.
