Ms. Gale is a beautiful soul who is professional and provides excellent customer service and hair care. I relocated to the DMV 2.5 years ago and she is the ONLY stylist I have used for protective styles (braids, faux locs, crochet, twists, etc). I have booked Ms. Gale’s services over 15 times. Her pricing is reasonable and her policies are more than fair. Additionally, she also services both of my teenage sons. One has started locs and the other has braids. She does a beautiful job with their hair as well. Lastly, my mom, who still lives in NYC, loved my hair so much that she also booked appts with Ms. Gale during her visits to see me and her grandsons. Ms. Gale services her customers in her home which is always welcoming, clean and well-maintained. ALWAYS. I highly recommended Ms. Gales services. She’s a gem. Please do not allow these false one Star/low ratings to dissuade you. Ms. Gale is a gem. She works to ensure you receive the service and style you want for a reasonable price. Holly is the only barber there who has cut my hair. She is a fantastic barber, a true artisan at her craft. She also has a very professional demeanor as well, always clean, polite and doesn't run her mouth like some other barbers.

I'm not going to lie, this salon was challenging at first. I had to come back twice to have my nails fixed. However, on my third visit, I decided to also to go ahead and get a pedicure since I was already here. My pedicure was incredible, neatly done, and I was so relaxed. I had __ fix my acrylic fill and she took her time (graciously) to fix my issues with the shape and all over design of the nail. What really solidified by experience was the fact that every person greeted was treated with respect and kindness. I can tell the staff here is well loved and they love their customers back. I was a first time client and even they treated me as if I was a returning regular. I don't live in the area but greatly look forward to returning.

Kyle did my gel pedicure (as he usually does). He is very kind and enjoys providing excellent service. He’s learned my taste/style and recommends colors that I wouldn’t consider and he’s always spot on!

Got manicure french with design for first time I'll say it was a little pricy but not bad. They work extremely fast so it took less than 1 hour to get nails done. Not exactly like my reference picture but really pretty. Will be back

I wear my natural hair and she is wonderful with getting it and then keeping it healthy. But for all you sisters that wear the weave, she got you'll too. Waxing in general is not pleasant. But for my first time at this establishment, I have to give major kudos to my wax specialist, Michai. I am hairy. Super hairy. I have been getting wax treatments for a while. It's not my first time at this rodeo. But this was my first time here. Michai's technique is so gentle and so pleasant (I know it's an oxymoron) that I almost fell asleep. Notice I said almost, lol. But she was so gentle that it barely hurt at all. Oh, and her prices are AMAZINGLY REASONABLE! I'd go for her prices alone. I'm definitely booking my next appointment here. I think I've found the best wax specialist in the DMV.

Spartan Plumbing is very responsive. My air conditioner was not working and I submitted a request for service on line. I called to follow up and the staff person said that they were going to try to get out that afternoon. As I patiently waited, I received a call that the tech would be there in about 30 minutes. They were right on time and Matthew had my air conditioner fixed in 10 minutes. He is a very knowledgeable and friendly technician. Please give him a raise! I will always use Spartan for my services. I had an issue with an exterior door on my condo that, according to two other contractors had been installed poorly and was now "warped" and would have to be replaced at great expense. Mark took a look at the door and, while agreeing that the door had been installed poorly, suggested he might only have to re-hang the door. So that is where we began. And finished. He was correct, my door only needed to be rehung and not only did he do a wonderful job, and in an incredibly timely manner, he saved me a LOT of money. So I will be able to use that saved money to fix other things. Mark was easy to work with, reliable and super honest.

I requested a bid for some landscaping work and was relieved to see it would not cost as much as I expected. They completed the tasks quickly and effectively as well as cleaned up any debris. Excellent edging, the stumps and bushes were completely removed, and the new bed looks great.

These guys were top notch!! They did tree removal and stump grinding for myself and my neighbor. 2 very large trees in less than ideal places. One by a busy road the other by our pool. Needed bucket truck for both. They arrived as stated and got right to work. They did an impressive job. Placed wood where we asked, removed brush and cleaned up completely! Would highly recommend them and use them in the future!
Grabbed the number off the truck at my neighbor's house. My call was returned within minutes. Estimator visited that day, called to clarify location of tree & forwarded formal estimate. Crew arrived within 2 days to cut down the tree & returned for the debris. Great communication & prompt service. Crew did a great job. And, they beat my last quote by 40%. Highly recommend!!

Pride dental team just rocks! My parents and I all come here for our dental services. I was persuaded to come here when I saw how Dr. Pittman and her team took amazing care of my father, who had serious dental issues due to his advanced dementia. Bringing him to Pride Dental has really helped us take better care of my father and given us a lot of support and control over his overall health. Dr. Pittman has literally save two of my dad's loose teeth and put him on an excellent treatment plan to continue to help care for his teeth, which we appreciate.

Dr. Brown and his team are the best in the business! After receiving bad information and lackluster service for a cracked tooth from a different provider, I was eventually referred to Dr. Brown through the Veterans Administration. Dr. Brown's work is phenomenal and he is the epitome of a true professional. His staff is also wonderful. Everyone from the hygienist to administrative staff is pleasant, patient, polite and thorough. I truly appreciate their dedication to dental care and highly recommended them to anyone, veteran or otherwise.

We had our first visit with our new kitten and the tech and vet were amazing. They were so sweet with the kitten, and warned us how the kitten might react to each of the shots so we didn’t get concerned. The vet also asked multiple times if we had any concerns and if she could answer any questions.

I have a lot of structural issues due to accidents over the last 12 years. I’ve traveled many states trying to get better. I did cranial sacral for a while, that helped a little but it only got me so far. I did rolfing for a while, that helped a lot but when I stopped going once a week the pain came back. It took me to a certain point but stil not far enough. I’ve gone to Mike 4x and I can feel real progress. Structurally I can just tell I am better. We have been working on my more than a decade old hip injury, and I can tell each time that my hip is getting back into place. My third session the hip got better but my lower back felt terrible. It felt like the first day I got the injury (falling off motorcycle). I started to worry but I remember “retracing” does happen (it’s when your body feels old injuries before leaving the body). This pain lasted 4 days and left my body and now I’m all better again. We have more work to do but I’m so very grateful I found Mike. I’ve done so many different types of massages and Shiatsu shintai is a different animal to me. On top of the massage Mike does some getting rid of negative attachments and blockages through shamanic healing. To a lot of people that sounds like hocus pocus, but I really can feel in my body that I feel lighter after these sessions and I just feel lighter and lighter. These sessions are great for people with stuck traumas and injuries. Highly recommend.

My 86 year old mom has had vertigo and balance issues for the past several years. When a recent flare occurred, her doctor and I decided that vestibular physical therapy may help her ongoing issues. We are so happy we found Dr. Martin! He and his staff were fantastic with my mom. Everyone in the office was kind and friendly. My Mom's condition greatly improved after a couple months of therapy and she was given exercises to continue at home when she was discharged. I highly recommend Fyzical in Bowie!
