“I broke my glasses the other day and I also was overdue for a new pair. I have a eye appointment coming up, so the new pair will have to wait till I get my new prescription but the old glasses really needed fixing stat, so I decided to check this place out today since the reviews were so good! Well Yelp did not fail me - one of the lovely ladiesn at Heller Eyecare fixed my glasses free of charge and did it quite quickly even though there were indeed broken! Needless to say I will not hesitate to strongly consider them when I am ordering my new glasses. The selection there seemed very large and the fact that they are open till 6pm sometimes is very helpful. Thank you again to whomever helped me, life is too short to go around with taped glasses!“

“I was way overdue to get my new prescription filled (due to the fact that thankfully distance eyeglasses are not a matter of necessity for me - yet)(the reading glasses have been a necessity now for 20 years) and not looking forward to going to the Burlington Mall (which is closer to my new house), having previously patronized the Harvard Square store. Luckily I could easily negotiate the terrible corridors of the mall and found it smack dab in the center of the mall. The staff was lovely, I got a wonderful salesperson who quickly intuited what style I would like, and I left a happy customer, having bought 2 pairs of glasses which are to be delivered to my house.“
