Every part of the process from quote to install was well communicated, delivered and exceeded my expectation.

At no fault of theirs I had to have some work done to my garage and unfortunately the floor was damaged in one small area. I felt bad and wasn't sure that they would do such a small repair. “On Christmas Eve at approximately 10 PM I discovered that my finished basement, which I rarely use since the children moved out, was soaken wet everywhere I walked and looked. At the time I did not know the source of the leak, only that its effects were widespread. On the recommendation of a family member to contact Bostonian Cleaning and Restoration, I called late in the evening just wanting to get on their “call back” list. Imagine my surprise when I received a call from them on Christmas morning asking if I needed immediate attention. Having turned off the water and not wanting to disturb anyone’s celebration, I indicated that assistance could wait until the next day. Early the next morning two staff came to my home to assess the damage which they determined to be extensive: all carpet and pads in every room had to be ripped up and ceilings had to be taken down as did parts of some walls. (I note here that this was not simply a visual assessment; they had tools which measure moisture in walls and ceilings.) As explained by the staff, we needed to work quickly to prevent mold and mildew, an important remedy given that I care for grandchildren in my home. Within a few hours a crew was at my home completing the required work. The extent of the damage was documented by the crew in the event I needed to offer proof on an insurance claim. As an important and added precaution, Boston Cleaning and Restoration set up four or five enormous fans and three dehumidifiers in my basement to eliminate moisture. Throughout all of this, the staff and crew were helpful, courteous, and professional. At all times I knew I was receiving excellent guidance and professional care. I cannot recommend more highly the quality of the staff, the excellence of their work, and the care and attention I received from every single person at Boston Cleaning and Restoration…..all during the week after Christmas.“

“This was our second time working with them, after the excellent job they did for us the first time replacing our flood-damaged basement floors and walls. Carlos came out for the estimate, and was able to use the supplier's online preview software to show us what the room would look like with the new floor, which made it much easier to pick a finish. After a couple of reschedule dates due to the blizzard, a crew of four(!) showed up right on time for the call, and had the old floor removed in less than ten minutes. They called me in to check which way we wanted the grain positioned, then got to work. Less than two hours later, the new floor and all baseboard molding and trim had been installed. After a little discussion about the transition molding from the adjoining room, the crew showed me a sample of a better looking method, and went out for supplies. It didn't take long, and was a much better look than expected. All the old flooring was cleared out and the room left clean and ready to bring the furniture back in. We don't have any more plans tight now, but will certainly call Mult Flooring Supply when we do. Thank you to the crew fir a job well done.“

A few years ago, we used Doyle Wood Floors to replace carpet in three rooms with beautifully finished maple floors. This summer, it was time to replace the carpet in our living/dining room, and once again, we called on Jeff Doyle. This time, we chose prefinished five-inch white oak and are incredibly pleased with the outcome.

Working with Jeff to make our selection and arrange all the details was a pleasure. The Saturday crew managed to remove all the carpet and prepare the underlayment in just a few hours, hauling away all the debris. Rich, our installer, demonstrated his experience and expertise, completing the job in just two days.

Altogether it was a very satisfying process and we couldn't be happier with the results. We wholeheartedly recommend Doyle Wood Floors.
