15 Columbia Rd Ste 10, Pembroke“Been practicing yoga for over 20 years and I recently took advantage of Emerald's 30-day discount package for newcomers to their yoga studio. What I found during that time (roughly 20 classes, in-person and online combined) is that their is a roster full of hard-working, caring teachers. The owner, Landen, is one of those teachers and has a very hands-on approach, consistently communicating to ensure the enjoyment of his studio. The majority of Emerald's classes consist of slower flows, which stands in stark contrast to many of the studios in the area that guide their efforts towards forms of power vinyasas. I found this just as the winter began and it felt like a perfect way to slow me down and embrace the changing of the season. 5 out of 5, would certainly recommend the newcomer pass. Make sure you get as much as you can out of it, as they have a lot to offer, including livestreaming all their events on their website for students who want to practice from the comfort of their own homes. Good luck. Namaste!“

“I had the most magical, grounding experience at an event held by Shanti Shala Yoga & Wellness. A friend invited me to a holistic fair being held here which had vendors specializing in healing crystals, jewelry, art, cbd products, candles, colloidal silver + gold, honey, lavender lemonade, and homemade sewn goods. The grounds were covered in beautiful decorations including benches with Buddhas and Ganesh everywhere, chairs, a hammock and a pyramid you could rest or meditate with. The Gong meditation by Darnell was especially powerful. They had a smoothie truck to cater to the crowd, and the forests were covered with psychic readings and chakra balancing massage therapists. Some of the Vendors included: Jenny D's Bees (lavender lemonade + cbd honey) -- jennydsbees.com Rock & Pearl -- etsy.com/shop/rockandpearlholisitc Sophie's Silver -- facebook.com/sophiessilver/ Irie Bliss Wellness (cbd) -- iriebliss.com Fnurra Smycken (homemade sewn accessories) -- facebook.com/karijeen/ Diamonds and Dinosaurs -- facebook.com/DiamondsAndDinosaurs1/ Crystal and Stone Studio (jewelry)-- crystalandstonestudio.com Beachside Blends (smoothies + açaí bowls) -- @beachside_blends I would definitely return to their upcoming events, it was one of the most peaceful experiences I've had. Their next fair is 9/25/22.“

222 Webster St, Hanover“This practice may not appeal to everyone, but it’s always been a great experience for me. Ninety minutes of extreme heat forces breath control and mindfulness that compares to activities like surfing or boxing. It’s a no-nonsense style that requires the student to listen, focus and do what you’re told (a challenge for many). The ‘Bikram’ namesake has (deservedly) had controversy, but that in no way represents individually owned practices and teachers. Katrina does a great job. She’s extremely knowledgeable and if you enter with an open mind, you’ll leave her practice better.“
