Katrina is very passionate about the practice of Bikram Yoga and she is well versed in numerous variations to the poses to support issues such back pain, knee pain etc. She always includes little tidbits of knowledge related to Bikram yoga during each class 🙂 Her knowledge of the practice is incredible due to her tenure of teaching & practicing. Give it a try, don’t let the heat scare you away!
I started taking Bikram yoga with Katrina back in 2019 at Bikram Yoga South Shore. At the time, I really didn’t think I could handle the heat, but now I actually crave it. Katrina has created such a warm, supportive space where it feels safe to learn, grow, and show up just as you are.
She teaches in a really clear, straightforward way, and she always gives great tips on how to modify poses if you're working with injuries or limitations. I have scoliosis, so balancing can be a challenge for me, but Katrina has helped me find ways to make the poses work for my body.
