I moved to Massachusetts from out of state about two years ago after being established with the same dentist back home, and I’ll admit I was nervous about finding a new office. Dr. Tran was great as well. He was extremely informative throughout my appointment, explained everything he was seeing and what was happening, and made sure I understood my options and next steps.

I especially have to recognize Jackie and how phenomenal she was. When I checked out, I booked my next appointment to have a cosmetic filling done on my front tooth. Before I could even ask about insurance or what I should expect to pay, Jackie told me she would send the procedure codes to my insurance and get me an estimate. I have about a 20-minute drive home, and before I even made it back, she had already sent me the full explanation and estimate!

That level of communication and follow-through is so appreciated, especially when you’re a new patient and already a little nervous about starting over with a new dentist. The entire office was welcoming, organized, and incredibly helpful. I’m genuinely so glad I found Seaport Dental and would absolutely recommend them!“

However, the experience with one person from front desk staff hasn’t been quite as seamless. At times, the interactions can feel a bit dismissive or even rude, which is a shame because the actual dental care is top-tier. The other administrative associates have been excellent! “Really great dentist office. My hygienist is always so kind and caring. She does her job quickly and painlessly while explaining everything. I had my second cleaning here a few weeks ago and mentioned I might have a cavity, or it's just my regular tooth sensitivity getting a little worse (I have very sensitive teeth), so they took a follow up x-ray on that tooth, compared to last visit, and did a thorough exam. The hygienist and doctor both said they didn't see any signs of decay and that the recommendation was to treat the sensitivity, use Rx toothpaste, and let them know if it gets worse before my next cleaning. Honestly, this kind of plan is unheard of in most other offices. I feel like the second you mention a problem to other dentists they immediately pull out the big (expensive) plans like a filling or root canal or something worse.. $$$! Refreshing to feel like they care more about the patient than the bill.“
