“Very positive experience with Greg replacing old cedar siding and wood windows with vinyl siding and windows. His quote was very reasonable. You can set your clock by Greg...at my house at 8am SHARP every day with his son and employee Ziggy, who are also great workers. Greg replaced all my windows without me being home, reinstalled window shades and left the inside clean and in perfect order. Exterior was the same....all nails and trash picked up. “EDIT: I am adding to my review of a year ago because we have hired Inka Construction Group for a couple of projects since and they have only risen in our esteem. Apologies in advance for the length.
1. Last spring we needed a creative solution to weatherproofing an antique attic door that would be acceptable to Mass Save, who was financing an insulation job, and also affordable to us. The Mass Save contractors had no clue but Nik got on it and solved the problem quickly and elegantly. Maria, who is probably the most responsive contractor/owner on the business side we've ever worked with in 30 years of home ownership, slotted him in fast. She always does whenever humanly possible. ??

2. My 95-year-old mom lives with us in our 200-year-old house and last month her bedroom ceiling was starting to collapse. My first thought was: call Inka. Maria told me that Nik does not do that kind of work but they'd find me someone that they've worked with themselves and trusted. She did it all: found someone, set up the appointment--and when the estimate came back higher than she thought was right she brought in someone else for us, who got going fast and did a good job at a good price. That is the kind of relationship a homeowner wants with a handyman/contractor, but almost never gets, in my experience. We felt (as always with Maria and Nik) cared for as well as confident the work would be done professionally and as discussed.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: We could not speak more highly of Nik and Maria! Nik and his crew recently rebuilt/refinished some badly deteriorated areas on the deck and siding of our 200 year old house. They also repaired structural damage inside the exterior wall, replaced a leaky window, and left everything, inside and out, sturdy again and looking beautiful. Maria's organization, patience, and outstanding communication took the experience to the next level. Just great! (Oh, yeah--excellent value for the $$, too.)“

“Henrique is always polite and helpful, friendly and accommodating. His attention to detail is impeccable. I feel very comfortable using him as my contractor. He definitely goes above and beyond. He explains things that are going on and lets you know what might happen ie worst case scenario/best case scenario. He’s incredibly attentive to the work being done and is always present when you need him.
I felt bad one night when I called him for a broken sewer pipe. It was the end of a work day unfortunately but he showed up and he and his partner worked until late to clean up the mess.
He’s always up front and I feel he has my best interest at heart. You don’t find that every day!!“

“I selected Oasis Construction for a bathroom renovation project. There was very good dialog throughout the project including reviewing my material choices. Pedro’s feedback enhanced the outcome of the project.

As with any project there are unforeseen items that surface. For example, after demo, discovering a pipe that had to be moved for the project to continue. How these issues are handled is telling about expertise and professionalism, which Oasis demonstrated. All project phases were completed on a schedule to my satisfaction (demo, shower replacement, vanity, vanity light, plumbing, and painting). Mirror and floor tile I chose to have installed by specialist.

Pedro’s work ethic, attention to detail, communication, and focus to provide the best outcome possible is hard to find. I recommend Oasis and Pedro without hesitation.“

You know from the first phone call they aren't just going to get you to sign a contract and then slam through it with unknowns and extras the whole way. We appreciated the time they took to make sure we understood what would be done and what the pros/cons were for each decision we made.“

“Too long: didn't read- We would hire G&O Construction again in a heartbeat.

We had to have our roof replaced this year as it had a leak and was just older than anyone knew from when we bought our house two years ago.
The entire process was painless and restored some of my faith in construction teams!
Nick gave us a quote quickly, and the team executed to that quote flawlessly. He knows his business for sure.
The quote was for removing the shingles, repairing any leaks, removing our useless chimney, repairing any holes from behind the chimney, and feathering in new cedar shake shingles so it matched the house. He estimated it would take about 3-4 days for the roof, and 2-3 days for the chimney+shingles.
They started on a Thursday, and by Wednesday the roof was done, they weren't able to work that Monday due to crazy wind and rain. So exactly to Nick's quote. The final chimney removal and shingles took another two days, which was again, exactly to quote.
We've had a couple rain storms since then, and no leaks. Obviously I'll update my review if something happens, but we have no reason to think that their work wasn't pristine.
The entire team was friendly, professional, and did excellent work, they didn't destroy any of our property, they picked up after each day (including cigarette butts that were in the grass) and were methodical. My husband asked if he could go up on the roof with them and see what they were doing. They were so happy to show him the ropes, explaining any of his questions. There was no hostility at all over being asked about the process. He was just curious as he hasn't done roofing before.
I had some questions about the project as well and when I called the office to talk to Amy, she was fantastic. She was professional, friendly, and promptly answered questions or went and found the answer and called me right back.
Just a really solid company that we were happy to do business with and would hire again without any second thought.“

“I have never had such an incredible team as Quality Contracting’s under manager Mike Bonnette following last winter’s ice dam.

Each member of the team he put together…from movers, to those securing all entries with plastic, filtering air machine in place to assure the rest of the house had only clean air moving into it, all floors covered neatly with heavy brown paper; sheet rock replacement professionals, plasterer, and clean up crew were absolutely superb. I had hired my own painter but now know that anyone working on this team would have been top notch as well. From living with a house in disarray for some time after the storm, once this team arrived and worked with such care each step of the way I felt I had my house back, even as work proceeded.

The technician arrived right on time, explained the dangers of clogged vents, and then got straight to work. They cleared out years of lint buildup that was restricting airflow and creating a fire risk. My dryer now works so much better—it dries faster and doesn’t overheat. The technician was knowledgeable, polite, and very thorough. They also gave me helpful tips for keeping the vent clean between services. The price was fair, and the service was fast and professional.“
