“I had a small job repairing the overhang on a commercial building that was recently damaged by an oversized truck. I had contacted another contractor that initially looked at the job and never got back to me. I contacted JFCpros and sent them a few photos of the damage. That same day Joe went by the site and evaluated the job. I met with him and went over what he found during his evaluation later that day and the next day he provided me with a quote. He handled all the permitting and interaction with the town departments, which were particularly trying as they requested architect building plans prior to issuing the permit. Fortunately he had an architect that he frequently worked with and the plans were generated the next day and successfully submitted. Despite the added town requirement the job was started within a couple days and finished within a week. The quality of the work was great and the repair was well matched to the original building finishes. Joe kept me up to date on every project milestone and worked through all the town department requests. I would not hesitate to contact him for future projects. He was really positive and a pleasure to work with.“

“Henrique is always polite and helpful, friendly and accommodating. His attention to detail is impeccable. I feel very comfortable using him as my contractor. He definitely goes above and beyond. He explains things that are going on and lets you know what might happen ie worst case scenario/best case scenario. He’s incredibly attentive to the work being done and is always present when you need him.
I felt bad one night when I called him for a broken sewer pipe. It was the end of a work day unfortunately but he showed up and he and his partner worked until late to clean up the mess.

“I had a large rear dormer placed in my attic facing my backyard on a 97 year old colonial with its original slate roof, and it came out very nice. It was a shell construction project, eventually done in the way I anticipated. I liked working with them, and they replaced all my recycled slates on the outer layer of the roof nicely. I recommend them for the beginning of any potential additions to your home. I wish to hire them again.“

“We were looking for a contractor who could tackle a multitude of projects for our home -mostly related to doors, but some other areas beyond this. We spend considerable time researching contractors for any work we have done and pay careful attention to reviews across many sites to see if a contractor is someone we want to work with or not. We decided to reach out to Johanson Home Improvement (Chad) to see about working on these projects and it was one of the best contracting decisions we've made. Chad came out for an initial visit and spent a considerable amount of time with us going through every project. He took notes and considered important necessities related to each project. He allowed us ample time to ask questions and provided detailed answers to better help us understand any complexities with certain projects. We prioritized one of the tasks (the installation of two doors) as being most critical to complete this year. Once this was decided, Chad worked to get the doors ordered for us according to the very specific, custom measurements needed. His communication with us through this process was always outstanding --keeping us regularly informed and giving us a very clear picture on when he would be able to start the work. Fast and clear communication is a strong trait we look for in contractors and Chad demonstrated this every step of the process. For the work itself --Chad had a very challenging task ahead of him.
