“This Veterinary center was very accommodating, clean, professional, well mannered and empathetic. We recently visited the vet and had to hear some tough news. They aren’t just about making a bunch of money or a profit taking advantage of their customer base. They were very understanding and extremely accommodating. The staff was professional and personable. The doctor was experienced and very knowledgeable. They even followed up after with a written summary of our appt and prepared thoroughly reviewing our dogs history before we met. I am extremely satisfied with the thoroughness and the time the doctor spent with us and didn’t feel rushed at all. We just recently moved to MA from CA and will definitely plan for all our pet care here to be at Highland Animal Hospital and provide a shining recommendation.“

“I used Boston Dog Butlers for 3 years to walk my dog twice a week and once a week for park play, as well as one off dog walks on the weekends. I recommend them to everyone who lives in the South End. In those 3 years, I never once had a walk cancelled. They are incredibly reliable, kind, and my dog is obsessed with all of his BDB dog and human friends. I’m moving to Cambridge and am SO bummed I won’t be able to use them anymore. 10/10 service and people!“

“I can’t recommend Untangled Tail highly enough. I’ve worked with several groomers over the years, and Brenda stands out as the most skilled and professional by far. My dog has very sensitive skin and often had flare-ups after grooming elsewhere, but since switching to Untangled Tail, he’s done exceptionally well.

Not only does he always look fantastic, but the appointments are also noticeably more efficient than with other groomers. At this point, I wouldn’t trust anyone else with his care.

“I have a Persian (Ellie) who I failed at proper grooming as a kitten, so she doesn’t love it now that she’s older. I’ve taken her to a number of groomers over the years and she’s never come back looking and feeling as good as she did from Wags N’ Whiskers. I skipped her getting a bath-unless she goes with her sister and gets done together, Ellie is exiled and bullied until her sister warms up- and her hair and coat still looked great. The cats being groomed at times when there’s no dogs made such a difference, she had a pep in her step from the moment she came out of her carrier. I have a puppy who I’ll be bringing in to get groomed, as well as my other kitty when she’s due. Highly recommend (especially for cats!) Couldn’t be happier! T“

“My dog HATES getting her nails trimmed and turns into a demon at PetSmart. However, the ladies at Dog Village Salon must radiate some aura of love because she never even quivers a lip here. They hold her and give her little kisses while someone trims and grinds her nails, and she leaves calm and happy. They are fast, kind, and charge a very reasonable price for a great nail trim.

We are moving soon but may honestly come back sometimes just for the nail trims.“

Dr Martinez not only made it convenient for us, he is reasonably priced. During a difficult time when most people take advantage, Dr Martinez is honest and kind, and only has you do what is absolutely necessary. Unlike those other “emergency clinics” that I have made the mistake of going to multiple times prior that cost 250$ just to walk in the door. I am forever grateful to Dr Martinez and the girls for taking my panic calls and listening to me ramble and cry when I thought something was seriously wrong with the little dog Ryder. They are the best!“
