The people are nice and they did a great job on our two dogs. I thought parking might be a problem, but they have a parking lot on the street next to the building. Highly recommended.“

Molly knows exactly where we are as soon as we get out of the car, and she is always SO excited to see Brenda - that tells me a lot! She does an awesome job with her haircut. Couldn’t recommend more!“

256 Marginal St BLDG #14, Boston“When I moved to East Boston mid 2021 it has been a couple of years since my little guy had been to a structured daycare. By that point there had been a lot of changes in life, personal and work, on top of spending 24/7 by my side the past 2 years. When I mentioned this to a close friend he had nothing but amazing things to say about Harbor Hounds. The amazing difference he saw in his timid pup with her confidence was night and day. While my little dude is anything but timid, his anxiety (seperation and otherwise) was at an all time high.My dog has been at Harbor Hounds for 2 years now and cannot say enough great things. Sarah, Lindsey and the rest of the employees there are beyond kind and caring. No matter the day, every time I drop him off his tail is always wagging. They let Yuki be Yuki all while helping him improve and learn along the way. It's made a huge difference in both his and my life.“

She was able to remove tarter from her teeth and save me hundreds that my vet wanted to charge me for removal.I will definitely bring my girl back.I definitely recommend this place.“

31 Crest Ave, Winthrop“I have brought my Brittanypoo for grooming every 3-4 months and everyone there is great. I am so surprised that I was told she would be ready in 2 hours and it was 5 hours later when I got her. She was definitely traumatized, vomiting and diarrhea for 2 days after. She also had to be treated for a shoulder injury. Xena is a handful I know but I schedule her early am to minimize the trauma, I called and was told she was to nervous and had to be worked on slowly and my husband was told there had been equipment problems. I don’t know what happened that day but I am afraid to bring her back. Xena gets car sick so I bring her there because it’s 5 minutes from my home, I wish they had called me to come and get her until they could focus on her. I am disappointed and discouraged and fearful that I won’t be able to get her to go back. They were always kind and careful with her and protected her ear problems and bad Matt’s it was an overall bad day for them but Xena paid the price. I do recommend them for a crate trained dog who isn’t fearful of the process. I guess I am an overprotective mom but she had a traumatic start in life and I do everything I can to keep her calm comfortable and safe. I write this at the urging of my Vet. and it makes me sad.“
“Rachael and Evelyn were amazing. I live out of town and needed care for my Giuseppe while at Dana Farber for my father. I am so grateful to them for their exceptional service and for going above and beyond. ♥️?“

They’re so fantastic!“

“Kate Gallaher is an amazing person amd knows dogs better than anyone I've ever met. I've trusted her to watch my dog Champ on several occasions and the only problem I've had is he doesn't want to leave. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking a trustworthy and loving place for their pet.“
“Janelle is a skilled groomer, who’s able to effectively work with my double-coated northern breed dogs, which can be a challenge! On top of that, my dogs absolutely love going to see her. One of my dogs will trot right into her salon, and hop right onto the grooming table - ready to go! It’s clear that she’s treating animals with care. I highly recommend!!“

153 North St, Lexington“Virginia took great care of my sometimes reactive Pekingese during grooming. The set up of the facility helps maintain the calmness of the dogs. It was refreshing to not hear the dogs (from daycare) barking. My dog seems to really like Virginia and he was not whining or scurrying out of the place like he usually would. I’m so glad I found her and will be using her services regularly! Thank you so much!!“

“There are no words to truly show how much Dogwood Cottage has meant to us and to our dog, Leo, since we started going in 2021. We had tried a different place before, which made Leo nervous around dogs and humans. When we went to Dogwood, Leo loved playing with the sweet group of dogs that come to daycare- he even has a few girlfriends there now! We love seeing the pictures/videos of him playing with his buddies on the Dogwood Cottage Instagram and seeing how happy he is every time he goes! The love, and attention, and patience that the staff shows Leo continues to be above and beyond— it has helped Leo come out of his shell with humans. I know that a large reason for this staff culture is due to the leadership of Dogwood’s manager, Carl James. Not only is Carl incredibly knowledgable about dogs and their behavior, but I have come to know Carl closely and feel that I can speak to his kindness, dedication, and selflessness. He deeply cares for the dogs that come to Dogwood as well as the satisfaction of their human owners. Carl is responsive, responsible, organized, thoughtful, and I will always completely trust Leo in him and his staff’s care. Carl consistently goes above and beyond. Any place that Carl is, is a place that is lucky to have him and a place that we trust 100%.“
