716 Lowell Rd, Groton“I have had starwood veterinary,Dr. Baran come to my home to help with my dog aggressive 75 pound pitbull named Nitro for several years, I am so glad and thankful I found this vet, he is kind, attentive, understanding, and he is also not afraid to work with a pitbull that can get snappy during yearly immunizations, During the pandemic Nitro was sick, and the Dr, was out on medical, but he called me, and he helped troubleshoot via phone call about my dogs belly, etc, next steps........ The Doc was correct, my dog ate a bone and had a piece of bone stuck in his belly, This past tuesday I had to put down my beloved Nitro, Dr, B came to the house, and helped get Nitro peacefully to rainbow heaven. Nitro called Dr Banan, "the wormy doctor", because Dr B, prescribed the yearly heart worm pills. 5-star the best vet I have ever worked with. I am 54, and have never been without a dog more than 4 days, lol I had Nitro for 15 years, and the pup before him, Shena also lived 15 years. So in 30 years, 2 dogs, and I look forward to continuing to work with Dr. B, in the near future, when I adopt another pup. this time will need to be a smaller pup, I am getting older now, and need to consider logistics of the bigger pups, so next I need a pup under 50 pounds. But 5 star plus plus for Starwood Veterinary out of Groton, MA, Nitro loved his "Doctor Wormy". UPDATE: I adopted a 40 pound terrier mix, and Dr. B came to the house to perform Peppas first round of immunizations, he is very patient, understanding, caring, and fantastic. I have recommended Starwood vet to many neighbors, and now a bunch of my neighbors and their pets have Dr. B,“

4 Strawberry Hill Rd, Acton“This is the second time I took Zuki, my cockatiel, there. Dr. Sager is good at what he does and immediately figured out what was wrong with her. Highly recommend. Glad I found him especially after the disaster of a vet last time, which resulted in Poppy, my previous cockatiel, dying. She had chronic diarrhea and the other vet told me she was fine and pushed me out. She wasn’t.“

556 Main St, Bolton“Absolutely love coming here! Everyone is so nice and it’s so hard to find a place with staff versed in exotic care. We come here often for acupuncture for my senior rabbit approaching 11 and it’s been helping his arthritis stay at a minimum.“

10 Hollis St, Groton“This is the best veterinary practice in MA. Dr. Thomas is thorough, precise, kind, and down to earth. She has dealt with everything, from international travel documents - that were prepared and just needed my signature - to a thorough investigation of health issues. Micayla, the technician, demonstrates immense compassion towards animals and is clear and informative. The front desk are efficient (my cat's entire history was organised, paper clipped, and the file returned to me within a day!), respectful, and lovely. Fabulous team and the very best care!“
“I've been going here for almost 30 years and throughout the lives of many of my pets. I love Dr. Norelli. He is compassionate and practical. He doesn't run unnecessary tests or provide unneeded care. He is fully focused on pet health over profits.“

77 Powder Mill Rd, Acton“I could not be happier with the services provided by the staff and vet. They were responsive and accommodating to my appointment request and I was able to get an appointment for the same day. My dog Emerson has anxiety and the care and patience they gave her made for a really good experience and she was super comfortable and even taking treats from them by the end of the appointment. Very grateful I found their services and would recommend to anyone looking for a good, knowledgeable, and compassionate veterinarian office/hospital“

23 Maple St, Pepperell“After tiring of the cold, sterile environments of other vet clinics, I went and found PVMC. From the moment you walk into the converted barn and see it's open, country-like feel, you know you've entered a true country vet experience. My dogs Sadie and Watson both get amazing care from Dr. Nina Stebbins as well as several of my friends' dogs that I've referred here. Highly recommend.“

497 Main St STE F, Groton“We had a 130 pound Leonberger that was 13 years old and we got exceptional care. He was too infirm to get out of the car and so they wheeled any diagnostic equipment required outside to provide the treatment he needed. We now have a two year old Leonberger and we would not think of taking him anywhere else. Their technical expertise and passion for animals is simply exceptional. Plus they are the nicest people you could ever wish to meet.“
“Dr. Walker and the rest of the staff were amazing when my sister was faced with the hardest decision she had to make for her dog. He made sure all questions were answered, all options were covered and even waited for our family to gather and say our good byes. Dr. Walker’s kind words during the process can only be described as compassionate. He even called my sister a few days later to check in on her. They made this difficult experience just a little easier. We will be forever grateful.“

530 Massachusetts Ave, Boxborough“My dog obsessively plays with tennis balls, and it had looked like her teeth were pretty badly worn down. She is also fear aggressive, so I was very nervous about going to a new place. Scheduling the appointment was easy. They also allowed us to do a same day consultation and procedure. They were very great with her reactivity and had us wait in an exam room until her procedure and were great for if we needed anything. We were able to come and go and my dog was able to go on multiple walks while we waited which she loved. She did end up getting her teeth pulled but the doctor was lovely about continually updating us with what they were doing. They are absolutely worth the price and I will be coming here again!“

30 Nagog Park # 210, Acton“I adopted my cat Marshee (short for "Marshmal-Low") back in March 2024 and she was diagnosed with mammary cancer in April 2024 with a poor prognosis because of the size of her tumors. I went to Animal Cancer Care Specialists for a consultation with apprehension of what they would suggest that would need to be done. However, I was immediately put at ease by Laurie, Dr Romansik, Deb, Dr Cronin (we joked about Marshee and dogs checking her out in her carrier in the waiting room a couple of times), and all the staff. Marshee had six rounds of chemo, and graduated from chemo in October 2024 and earned her graduation neckerchief. Unfortunately, two more very small lumps recently appeared where her surgical sites were. She was scheduled for an ultrasound in a few weeks. However, three days ago she was not feeling well, and she passed away peacefully in my arms at home about an hour later. I was given a few months of remission for Marshee and she was happy and spunky until her last day. If your pet has cancer, please know that everyone at ACCS has the best interest in mind for your pet. The patience that they show for their patients is amazing. Marshee was a drooler and made her treatments challenging to say the least! Dr Romansik always kept me up to date with what was going on in the treatment room. Thank you to Laurie, Dr Romansik, Deb, Dr Cronin, and all the staff for your wonderful care of Marshee. Your kindness will never be forgotten.“

“I moved to the area a little over a year ago and have had the hardest time finding a vet for my pets that was kind, understanding, and affordable. Littleton Animal Hospital was all of that and more! My dog was having a minor medical concern that I wanted to have checked as soon as possible, and they were able to get us in as new patients in a little over a week. Dr. Brooks and the rest of the staff were so kind and listened to all of my concerns. They made my dog feel so comfortable and she had such an amazing time. Their services were very reasonably priced, and the facility was clean and beautiful. I will definitely be making appointments for my other pets to establish care. I am so relieved to have found a great vet for my pets!“
