“While visiting in the Groton area, my almost 16 year young pup developed a UTI (urinary tract infection). It's not generally an emergency condition, but in a senior dog, it could progress quickly. I'd called several veterinary offices in the area, but none could see us for a few days because we weren't pre-registered clients.When I called Veterinary Health Care of Groton, they were willing to fit us in that afternoon. I can't say enough good things about all of the staff. I was concerned that my pup would be uncomfortable on the hard floor & suddenly, a fleece blanket appeared for her! Dr. Thomas & her staff handled my pup gently & were very attentive to me & respectful of my concerns. I believe we received wonderful service for the cost of the visit,especially for a last-minute appointment.I had explained that we were just visiting in the area, but we were treated like long-term, valued clients. If you need veterinary care in Groton, I'd definitely consider this office!“

“I had to take my little dog in for a checkup because she was coughing and hacking and coughing for almost 3 weeks with no let up .. I was full of fear thinking the worst thinking that she may have cancer. she's also a 15-year-old terrier mix. They explained everything to me step by step what they were going to do to her and made sure that I understood everything that they were doing and what they were talking about.After I spoke to the doctors my anxiety lessoned tremendously. I guess what I'm trying to say is they really care because they know that your pet is your life ..your family.. your best friend.. and it's hard to find veterinarians that have so much compassion and kindness for what you are going through with your pet. I've been to many in my years growing up and may I say I've never found one like this. I tell everybody I know about this place and to try them out for yourself and see the results you will not be disappointed.“

North bridge handles everything for us from the routine care of our young horses to the more sophisticated maintenance of our competition horses to the emergencies that always seem to happen on Friday night or a holiday weekend. I wouldn't trust the health and soundness of our horses to any other practice!“

“Dr Anne took care of our cat Ziggy. She did a thorough examination. We have been to two vets in the past fews months and didn't have the confidence we had with Dr. Anne. We were referred by a friend who said her cats are seen by Dr. Anne as well. Said she loved Dr. Anne and so do we. Diane & John.“

He made sure all questions were answered, all options were covered and even waited for our family to gather and say our good byes. They made this difficult experience just a little easier. We will be forever grateful.“

“Dr Baran is very skilled and compassionate. Our very distrustful kitty was so calm and relaxed with him and allowed him to examine her with complete trust. He diagnosed her and treated her and her infection cleared up very quickly. I am eternally grateful. We thought we were going to lose her and we are so relieved.“

My 3 year old cat Violet had to have a full mouth extraction and they walked me through the entire process and kept in touch with me throughout the procedure and took great care of her. “I’ve been coming to this practice for about 3 years now, first with my cat then with my English bulldog. We’ve seen both Dr. Mockler and Dr. Roe and both were absolutely fantastic. My bulldog is a frequent flyer and they always take amazing care of her! They answered all my questions and were always super responsive to any of my concerns regarding my pets health. The front desk staff is super friendly, accommodating, and pleasant as well. We just moved out of the area and are so sad to leave this practice but I’d highly recommend them to anyone in the area!!!“

“I had to bring my cat Murray in for a second visit today 1/21/24 because he got too spicy for his annual check up. I changed out his carrier for a carrier swaddle bag to keep him calmer. The office staff were amazing, treating my boy with care and consideration for his anticipated attitude. I was more stressed than the cat. I called before bringing him in, reception made sure he could go straight back. I hovered at the desk listening for Murray to act up and again reception never once made me feel like I was out of line or in the way. (A lovely girl with pink hair, I'm sorry I didn't ask her name) Murray was grumbly but (prayers answered) he made it thru his appointment and we got him back home to his happy place. Thank you to all who worked with my boy today to keep him healthy.“

“They made me very comfortable. I had to put down my cat and they help me make the right decisions for him. The doctor was extremely nice. Receptionist was a little impatient. Didn't seem to have any empathy. But the veterinarian was extremely caring and patient for a process that was extremely hard for me.“

“I called Dr Walsh on a Sunday evening during a snow storm . The hospital was closed but , he answered the phone and agreed to meet me at the hospital .My poodle was experiencing urinary tract infection symptoms .(bloody urine )He was able to treat my dog and give me the appropriate medications needed . My dog was looking and feeling better the next morning.I really appreciated his kindness and arriving quickly to help . I would have waited hours any other place . Thank you ?“

“I am an actual client of Harvard Family Pet Clinic and have been for 2 years. I can say that the misinformation being posted about Dr. Koretsky couldn’t be farther from the truth, and that the people leaving negative comments have not ever been to this clinic, nor do they even live in the same state.I came on here to share my input as Dr. K is not only my veterinarian but she has become my friend in the 2 years that I have been her client, and it is hurtful to see people spreading lies about her and her business. Dr. Koretsky is an advocate for all animals, including service animals being used correctly. Since leaving my original review (below), I have adopted a second kitten and continue to go to Harvard Family Pet. In the years that I have known her, she has been nothing but a fantastic veterinarian, and I would not go anywhere else. The comments from my original review remain, and I also want to add that Dr. K takes the time on her days off to help me when I need assistance or have questions. I don’t know of anyone who has a veterinarian that they can contact on a day off and/or over the weekend, and get a fast response. I would give her 100/5 stars if I could!! She has done countless things outside of her normal business hours to ensure my pets are receiving the best care, and that is the type of person she actually is. I hope that anyone reading negative comments about the clinic will not let that deter them from choosing this clinic for their pets, and will listen to an actual client. My pets are literally my children and I would not trust anyone else with them. My cats are both healthy and thriving.My original review is below:I adopted my first kitten almost a year and a half ago, and chose this pet clinic because I was looking for a smaller practice. As a first-time cat mom, I had a million questions at the beginning, and still continue to have ongoing questions about the best way to care for my cat. He is my baby, and I always want to make sure I am doing the very best for him. Dr. K and Kayla have always been super helpful and patient with me. They always take the time to explain anything and everything to me, whether it is in-person, via email, or over the phone. I am experiencing a lot of things for the first time, so I like that they don't make me feel silly for asking questions, and are always available to make recommendations. I never feel rushed during appointments, as they take the necessary time to provide care and make sure any questions are explained. A few months back, I had an emergency with my cat and they were available to answer my questions after-hours, got me scheduled first thing the following morning, provided an emergency room referral, followed-up with the emergency vet, and handled my pet insurance claim (immediately). I am very happy with this pet clinic, and I feel that I would not get the same level of care at a larger facility. They are very prompt with getting back to me whenever needed, flexible with scheduling appointments, and have very fair prices. I trust them completely with the care for my baby, and I highly recommend this vet clinic!“

“If you're looking for a vet that is honest, and treats your animals like they're their own, Lowell Rd Vet is it. Lord Boba is my actual child, and I only wanted the best care. I did extensive research on the vets in the area before I moved here and this was the one that I landed on. From reception, to the techs, to the Drs - everyone is amazing. They remember us, and love on my little guy. And it's not just because he's a puppy, I've seen them love all over a golden senior before too! They answer all my insane questions, and always answer their phone line and emails. Lord Boba gets PUMPED when we pull into the parking lot because he knows he's seeing all his friends. He's not scared of anyone here, and runs to see them with his little booty wiggling away. Our first vet tech was Isaac. He is so gentle and nurturing and made a lasting impression for myself, and obviously Lord Boba as well. Our Dr is Dr Stroganoff. She is SO sweet, loving and patient with my wild little man. Always takes the time and answers any of my questions. She's also popped her head in to say hi to us even on just a tech visit! Courtney has been our tech multiple times and is SO fun and exciting for Boba. She's amazing at her job and you know she's passionate about animals and their well-being. She's a wealth of knowledge and Lowell Rd is incredibly lucky to have her on the team. Brooke has actually never been our tech, but has checked us in almost every time and always is the one to answer the phone on my crazy questions. She's never made me feel silly about asking anything. From "can Boba eat ____??" To "should I bring more poop for testing to you guys!?". There are definitely others that we have interacted with and are also amazing- but these repeat faces for us needed a shout out. We are so excited to continue our vet care here for Lord Boba and soon my 5 year old kitty Zina. Thank you all for being such an amazing team and making me feel at total ease. I've never owned a dog that was excited to go to the vet - and this is Bobas favorite place to be.“
