“I was running an errand in dedham on Saturday, late afternoon and had not been feeling well but the urgent care centers near my home closed early and I would not make it in time to get there. I noticed the ConvenientMD center as I was driving by so I decided to pop in and pray they were still open, and that there would not be a wait as I was feeling terrible and did not have the patience to wait. The place is huge, and SO clean and comfortable. The people were all so nice and much to my surprise- NO wait! I was seen almost immediately by a PA (who was kind and had a sense of humor!) and diagnosed, Prescribed medicine and sent on my way with instructions for follow up. They are a full service center - I can not imagine why anyone would go to an emergency room when urgent cares such as Carewell can care for you in such a pleasant environment without the chaos and wait of hospital ERs. “Rough! Staff is fabulous! This is zero shade on them. The company is ridiculous and staff have to bear the brunt of horribly run business. “Urgent Care” is the polar opposite of what the company provides. Appointment t for Covid test at 6:50. At 8pm(!!!!!) I was finally seen for a 5 second procedure! What the what??!! I just don’t get it. And now almost 24 hours later no results. Get it together “Urgent” Care!“

“My son got a knee scrape in gym class, which quickly got infected. The folks at CareWell were very kind and took great care of him, and prescribed antibiotics which cleared up the infection.“

“I called my primary and was advised to go to the closest Urgent Care. I was seen very quickly. The support staff, nurse, doctor, and XRay tech were all great. Within a short time I had a diagnosis and meds were called in to my pharmacy. I'm on the mend now and could not be more grateful. Super-easy access on and off Route 1 via Route 16 eastbound. Ample parking. A lab and XRay facility right there. A pharmacy right next door. Very comforting to have this facility nearby.“

“Incredible service! I was traveling on business and suffering from severe seasonal allergies. I was in and out in less than an hour as a “walk in” (no appointment).
Very polite and thoughtful staff. Fast process, and effective prescriptions to address the symptoms. They did very quick diagnostics to rule out flu or Covid so that we could remedy the allergy symptoms. 24 hours later and I’m feeling almost 100% again.
I highly recommend this facility and the wonderful nurse practitioner on staff.“

“A little info: This place has really improved. It is very helpful that they have an urgent care practice. Make sure to check the hours, or even call ahead to ask. Hands down, this is a much better option than any hospital, and the care is top-notch. You DO need to be a patient of theirs to use urgent care-which is only fair! The overall Health Center is much cleaner than a while back-big improvement, keep it up! All staff there have been very kind, professional, and caring. Let us as patients treat them in the same manner!!! Ok me: I saw Dr. Semenya on the 22nd July, and received excellent care. I thought I was good to go. Through no fault of theirs, I spiked a fever on the 23rd, and called the urgent care. I went right over, and fever had gone to 101.4. They ran tests--but I knew what was coming--I needed to go to the hospital. The very nice NP (sorry, forgot your name) called an ambulance for me. I was that sick! Everyone was so kind. I had a follow-up after I got out of the hospital (eek, let us not review the hosp) and Dr. Semenya covered all my questions and explained things. I feel like a participant in my health care, and that is how I like things. I think I am the first to provide an Ipad poop sample! Kudos to Uphams Health. These folks are top notch! Finally, I will recognize that there are many staff whom do so much to keep this place going. The admins., the nursing staff, and the pharmacy. I thank you, and recognize you here with the respect and thanks that you deserve! Thanks!“

“Speaking for Dr. Anil Kumar pain medicine and his staff. They have been good to me. Did a thorough examination and history review on me before treatments began. ALWAYS on time, never have waited more than 5 minutes in waiting area.“

“What an amazing place!!! Heard about this place last week when my daughter was getting a fever and cough. Took her here and was seen within 10-15 minutes. Tested for strep & flu and she had flu b. Just went yesterday with my son who had a cough and sore throat, but all tests; strep & flu were negative so just keep an eye on him in case it develops. Staff are so welcoming and quick to say the least. Was added to their website so I can check on test results, so helpful! Will be making this my priority place especially as they are kid focused. Hours are amazing especially since fevers always arise right after dinner at least in my house.“

I had multiple concerns that aren’t typically suited for an urgent care environment, and they helped me and had lots of compassion. “How lucky I was to need medical care in Medford and have access to this! I am from out of town and something came up on my visit. I tried to book online but ended up just getting an Uber and it was incredibly fast to get in and be seen (Saturday morning 9am). I have never been seen or treated in an urgent care as quickly (and I wasn’t bleeding or anything). I was out with my prescription in about half an hour. Thank you to the team!!Edit: I ended up being billed about $45 after insurance, which is something I was concerned about based on reviews. I do have very good insurance but thought I’d add that for what it’s worth.“

“I know people dont often submit good reviews but I had such a positive experience yesterday I wanted to make sure I shared. I got into a small bike v car accident yesterday and went straight to CHA to get some stitches for a resulting cut on my hand. I showed up at 6:45pm and was checked in, seen, stitched, and sent home within an hour. I've never had such a speedy, professional, and kind urgent care experience and I'm incredibly grateful to the physicians and staff!“
