1094 Saratoga St, Boston“Both my husband and I brought our wedding attire for tailoring. The team did an impeccable job. I wanted a customized side slit in my wedding gown, and they created one for me perfectly. Our attire was steamed, pressed, and ready to go weeks in advance, allowing us time to try it on one last time. I will always bring my garments here.“

The dress fits perfectly and was returned to me in better condition than when I brought it in, they were very quick with their services but did not cut corners, and the price was very fair. Plus, they are very kind people to work with! 138 Newbury St #2, Boston“I had a great experience having my wedding dress tailored at All-fit. I bought my dress from Vows, and All-fit was one of their recommended tailors. I needed my dress bustled, hemmed, and I also needed some more coverage on the top; she seamlessly integrated some of the applique from the hem onto the bodice. It’s clear that they are experts & professionals, I felt like I was in good hands the whole time!“

211 Newbury St Second floor, Boston“Kokel saved my marriage:
I had commissioned a bespoke wedding suit elsewhere, a decision that will haunt me until my dying breath. The stitching pulled like it was trying to escape. The fabric sagged in places it should never, and wrinkled tightly everywhere else. The suit didn’t drape so much as surrender. It was an absolute mess.
My fiancée missed no opportunity to remind me that I had procrastinated and now she would have to hire a chippendale to stand in for me. Taller. Better posture. Less puckering…
Desperate, out of time, and armed with nothing but google reviews, I took a chance on Kenan Kokel. Upon arriving, he questioned me like I was running a sting operation. “Who made the suit? When? Why?”
I put on the suit. He looked at it not two seconds before telling me it was “terrible work.” Without warning, he pulled a razor blade from behind his ear like he was Tommy Shelby, and he began slashing my wedding suit open while I was still wearing it. This is a bold customer-retention strategy. Effective, but bold.
As fabric fell away, he calmly identified every issue I had noticed—and several I hadn’t—explaining how the balance was off, how the panels were fighting each other, how the suit (like me) had lost the will to live.
I asked, meekly, if he was comfortable working on bespoke suits. High-end Italian wool. Complex construction.
He ushered me into the back room.
It was a war zone. Suit parts everywhere. Half-finished jackets hanging like fallen soldiers. Rolls of fabric so beautiful I briefly considered leaving my fiancée for one of them. This was not a tailor shop. This was a command center.
“You don’t worry. I do this all day, leave this with me,” he said, with the quiet confidence that can only be possessed by a Middle Eastern man who escaped an oppressive regime is his twenties.
Leave it with him, I did.
He didn’t just fix the suit. He dismantled it. Opened every seam. Corrected every panel. Rebuilt it from the inside out like a Savile Row Frankenstein. And he finished early.
When I put it on again, it fit like a glove. A glove that lifts weights and respects deadlines.
Chippendales got nothing on me.
If you need a tailor, go to Kokel. And bring cash.“
