I have been going to Shawmut Place for over 4 years now for both my dry cleaning and any alterations and tailoring. I have had them alter several expensive designer dresses for me and they always come back perfect! Most recently, I brought a dress that I thought was ruined by a spray tan and the owner spent the time to find a specialty dry cleaner who could fix what I thought was a ruined dress! I highly recommend Shawmut Place - such great service!

Shawmut Place did a great job altering a jumpsuit for me! In addition to that, the zipper broke on me (user error, not their error) the day before my event and they went out of their way to fix it for me in record time. Everyone there is incredibly kind and I couldn’t recommend them enough!

I really love this place! The atmosphere of this shop is very welcoming and it feels homey yet professional. This quaint place has very fair prices for what I ask of them and they are gentle with my items as they mend them. I will definitely be coming back for more repairs if I need them.
