SHP came up with a genius way to install the molding so that you dont notice the ceiling and the molding is level. He said it would take a day and that's what it took. He said what it would cost and that's what it cost. Clean up was great. Highly recommend SHP.“

I would highly recommend C D Donahue for any contracting needs.“

“NEDC appealed to us because of the Design Build offering, and their excellent reputation for truly caring about their client’s needs, so much so they have a five year warranty on all their work. We selected them for our total renovation of a city condominium. NEDC’s communication fluidity between designers and the construction team made clear their understanding of each other’s language. They were clear about challenges from the start, and their combined knowledge about the space allows everyone to go into the project being smarter and more pragmatic. The communication with us, the client, and their adherence to a disciplined process was foundational to the success of the project.
Once construction starts things happen in the field. There’s a reality that hits. The top designers in the world can’t predict field challenges, the ones that happen once you get into the space, ie, there’s a unique condition in a ceiling or wall, etc. So having an experienced and caring project manager, seamlessly working with the design team, one who respects the design process, enables the dialogue to continue throughout the project.
My view is that a project is constantly in design phase, but it changes context once you are in the implementation/construction phase- that open dialogue between the project manager and design team is critical to the success of the construction, and the beauty of NEDC’s budgeting process is that communication time is built into their process, no extra charges for the time spent for their internal teams to talk to each other! The conversations between the design team and the construction team are critical to keeping things on track, that’s the other part of the NEDC process, their priority is it to be on budget and on time. No surprises. They accomplished that for us. I mean, that doesn’t just happen!“
