“I’ve been going to EWC for almost a year and mostly had great experiences with different wax specialists! However, my recent visit with Britleigh for a Brazilian was not so great. During the service there were a few times where she wasn’t removing the wax fast enough/pulling hard enough and I ended up in a lot of extra pain compared to other times I’ve had the service with others. She also went over the same spots like 5 times which seemed excessive to me vs tweezing any rogue hairs. None of this would have phased me too much if it weren’t for the fact that I am very sore still today (I saw her yesterday) and have generally been in discomfort and my skin has felt much more irritated/sensitive than any other time I’ve had this service. I have small red patches in a couple places and there was also quite a bit of little wax pieces left behind when I got home and I had to use a rag to scrub them off which only further irritated my skin. Overall my experience at this location has been very positive but my past experience left me feeling dissatisfied and with what I think is unnecessary pain. I will just make sure to see a different specialist next time.”
