“I know others may say they have the best optometrist but unless they say Dr. Michelle Korcz and staff at Bright Eyes Optique they are wrong.

“Dr. Budden is a wonderful doctor, knowledgeable, efficient, personable and caring. I just wish that they wouldn’t double or triple book him. An appt. that takes about 15 minutes with him and another 15 for the tech to measure and dilate my eyes, takes all morning or all afternoon because of the lengthy waiting times. I switched from the Prytania office to the one in Metairie, hoping it would take less time. But it still took most of the afternoon. I have a friend with macular degeneration in another city and it takes her 1/2 hour to get in and out. Is it because you’re understaffed? Need more doctors? I just wish this could be fixed because I trust Dr. Budden and don’t want to switch. Thank you.“

“I came here after a DEEPLY disappointing experience at another optometrist, and Lakeview Vision Source was the correct choice. You can stop reading now and just make your appointment - you’ll understand as soon as you’ve been.The office is well appointed and conveniently located, and costs are extremely reasonable. The staff are all friendly and knowledgeable, going so far as to check in when (due to my previous optometrist’s ongoing bungling) my insurance would cover the appointment but not getting new glasses or contacts. That level of responsible customer care is above and beyond, and it informed the entire experience.The exam is easy, thorough, and fast, with updated systems arranged to keep you (even as a very big and tall human like myself, comfortable the entire time. The doctors have a truly exceptional bedside (chair-side?) manner, and are attentive and well versed in a genuinely shocking array of potential complicating factors and legitimately rare conditions that many other doctors are uninformed on, at best. Every step is covered thoroughly, and that level of respect that I mentioned earlier is there every step of the way, from your finances to your autonomy and everything in between.This isn’t the turn-and-burn kind of office, like some out there that will just try to gouge you once every year or two and then never care about you as a patient until the next gouging. “Robert is fantastic. Very kind, knowledgeable, and has fair prices. This has become my go to shop from now on. My old glasses broke and he took the time to cut the lenses down to fit one of his frames he had in shop for a very reasonable price. The new frames broke today and I showed him and he swapped them out instantly with no cost or paperwork.
