High winds damaged my roof and caused a leak, so I started looking for help. I happened to see Sparta Roof and Restoration at my neighbor’s house doing an inspection and went over to talk with them. That’s when I met Jay—and let me start by saying, he has been amazing.
Jay took the time to listen, explain the process clearly, and answer every question I had. He even offered to be there with me during the insurance inspection to provide support. Both Jay and the insurance inspector agreed that I needed a new roof, which made the entire process feel straightforward and far less stressful.
From there, things moved surprisingly quickly. Once insurance approved and provided payment, Jay and his team were at my house ready to work within a couple of days.
One thing that really impressed me was how thoroughly the entire process and expectations were explained ahead of time. When installation day arrived, there was no need for a “here’s what to expect” conversation—we already knew. The only question before they started was which side of the driveway, we wanted the dumpster on. That level of preparation made everything feel calm and seamless.
They were also very respectful of my time and schedule. I work from home and had one potential scheduling conflict, which they were understanding of and worked around without any issue. That flexibility and consideration made the process even easier.
Another thing that truly stood out was the respect shown throughout the entire experience. My husband was working and unable to be involved as much as I was. As a female, I’ve sometimes noticed a shift in how I’m treated when working with male‑dominated industries—not usually for the better. Not once during this process did I feel dismissed, talked down to, or left out. I was always treated as an equal and fully respected.
Even when Jay later sat down with my husband and me together, nothing changed. He spoke to both of us, explained everything clearly, and treated us with the same level of professionalism and respect. That meant a great deal to me.
Jay and his team were also incredibly respectful of my family, my property, and my space. They took extra care to cover areas all around the house to ensure as much debris as possible stayed out of my flower beds, yard, and plants, and they cleaned up any messes as they went. There were no surprises—just clear communication, professionalism, and care from start to finish.

Stopped in today for a pedicure. The lady was so sweet and took her time to do a great job. The atmosphere was relaxing with calm music. I also appreciated that they had all prices listed for each thing so you knew what it would cost in the end. I will definitely be back!

Desperate, I took a niece's referral and went to see Tammy at The Look in Shepherdsville for a cut and style. My hair offers challenges, perhaps the biggest being that I have gone from a woman with hair so thick that stylists groaned when they saw me to hair so thin I groan every time I saw it. I gave Tammy carte blanche to make my hair look thicker. She did a FANTASTIC job. My friends, and even my husband (who is one of the "women's hair must be long" men) said that I look 10-15 years younger! I'll take it... I will be back to visit Tammy, too!

John was an angel on Earth for my mom and me. She had a leak as strong as a water hose as far as how much water was coming out from the hose in my mom’s bathroom! Not to mention that this happened at 4am in the morning. He was excellent. After getting no help at all from the plumbers and the Louisville water company! This was a crazy emergency and we could get absolutely no help at this time of day. John quickly got the water turned off and a new valve put in my mom’s mobile home in a matter of minutes. Thank you so much John. It’s nice to know that there are still good people in this world and that everything isn’t only about money. You truly saved her when no one else could even be reached to help in this emergency! Thank you a million times over and God bless!
Sewer Doc has taken care of me a couple times, shows in time frame given completes the job and is very professional. In the near future will be replacing my Sewer line and sewerdoc will be the only company I call.

Mike Osbourn has been the easiest contractor we have worked with in the past couple years. I found him while searching for someone to fix our yard, he was recommended through the city’s approved contractor list. I initially emailed him and he responded quickly. Mike worked us into his busy schedule for the home visit and to get the vision for the project. He listened to what we wanted, made suggestions on the project, and provided the quote same day. I was shocked when he said the project would start the following week, the second picture is where we are at now. While the project is not completed, it is still moving along fast, and the fence will be installed next week.
His team was very professional and took great pride in their work. Watching them work on the retaining wall it was evident that they weren’t going to rush through just to get it done, they worked until it was level and all pieces fit perfectly.

Everyone was wonderful for my first visit to this office. My hygienist , Chelsea, was so friendly and knowledgeable she explained each step of what she was doing before and during the procedure. She was able to answer any questions I had because everything was new to me at this office. I kept remembering specific things that I had forgotten to put on my forms filled out prior to my going back to the room. She always said she would add it to my history. She remembered to tell Dr Meunier everything I had shared with her that was not on my history. She was very meticulous Dr Meunier was very friendly and knowledgeable. It was a very pleasant experience which I was a little nervous about.
My kids had a GREAT visit today both had no cavities! Dr.brent is the BEST!!! Highly recommend. Staff is AMAZING!!!

Dr. Carroll and his staff are wonderful, makes you fee at home there. I was there a few days ago for teeth cleaning with Dana and she did a fantastic job! I wouldn't go anywhere else.
No other dentist will come even close to Dr. Masters and everyone that works in his office. They are the Chic-Fil-a of dental care! The care and kindness of him and the staff is something I have never had at a dentist before. My whole family is now patients at his office and he has taken care of each one of us. Both my mom and mother in law were very afraid and nervous about the dentist and thanks to this office they smile when they have to go. Don’t hesitate to use them
It had been a long time since I visited Shep animal hospital, last time was before the remodel. Today, I brought my two cats as a walk in due to them being sick. They treated me and my cats right away and were so kind while taking care of us. Amber was fantastic and very sweet, I felt very confident, comfortable and safe letting her take care of my babies while waiting for Dr. Stone. Which he also did fantastic as well. I will be taking all 6 of my animals to shep animal from now on, way to go team and thank you so much!
I can not say enough how much they care about the animals and their parents. I had an emergency today, 2 vets in Mount Washington turned me away because they said they didn’t have any spots open even though I was covered in my dog’s blood due to the injury. I walked into Bullitt County Veterinary center and without any hesitation, they took a us in with so much compassion. Hands down the best place to go to. Thank you guys so much!
Hands down the best massage place I’ve ever been to with so many amazing therapists. I’ve seen 3 of the women up there and each of them are unique and talented in their own ways. Their new location is beautiful and I absolutely appreciate the presence of God and the prayer jar. I can’t wait to see the growth that’s on its way for this wonderful place.
