Choi Martial Arts Academy LLC Martial Arts Schools

“Our boys have been attending the Choi Martial Arts Academy for over a year and we are very pleased with the programs that they offer. They are enrolled in the after school program which we all love. I know that they are in safe hands and have the opportunity to complete homework before coming home for the evening. The martial arts class at the end of the day has definitely helped our boys with their confidence and self esteem. The facility also offers camps for when school is out on break, which is very convenient. The instructors are all very kind but also know how to encourage the boys listen! I would highly recommend this facility to others.“

“This is an awesome gym. Not only is it a gym it's a Jiu-Jitsu family. They are all very nice and welcoming. They make sure that everyone is comfortable and welcomed. They are very honest and upfront. They have multiple class times to accommodate everyone. They not only teach adult Jiu-Jitsu they also have a kids class and a women's only class. They also have Muay Thai / kick boxing and wrestling classes. If you're considering any of these sports you should definitely check them out. My son has and continues to learn so much from this gym. Not only from Coach Board but all of his teammates as well. I couldn't ask for a better establishment for my son to be a part of.“

Grandmaster Park's Chung Do Kwan Taekwondo Martial Arts Schools

“I have been very pleased with the structure and activity of Grandmaster Pak’s dojo. We have a son that has been a part of the dojo for just over two years. Many of the Grandmaster Pak’s dojo principles re-emphasize what we’re teaching our son at home. It’s always good to have a community that our children can be a part of, that will emphasize the principles of discipline, work ethic, respect for self and others, healthy communication, self-awareness, confidence, and more. I would highly recommend giving this dojo a try!!“

Hernly Family Karate Martial Arts Schools

“Our son has been doing Hernle Family Karate since 2021 including at the dojo, at school and also summer camps. We are so very pleased. You can tell that both sensei Ben and sensei Hernle truly love what they do. Our son comes home so proud and happy. He has learned to respect his body and respect others while learning self protection. He has learned to work through challenges and has become quite disciplined and motivated to promote to the next belt. I love that he learns from more advanced leaders, and he also has an opportunity to be a leader. I love that they learn to respect their space and environment. I truly feel like their name stands for exactly what it is, a family. ❤️“

“I used to be under the instruction of Grandmaster Cottee of KTA Northwest until I transferred to compete. And I can’t say enough good things about him. He is strict and wants perfection, and challenges people to think in the right mindset. He taught me well and enhanced my preparation for the competition team that I currently attend.“

Eastside Family Karate Martial Arts Schools

“Eastside Family Karate provides my two polar opposite kids with valuable lessons that extend beyond karate. My youngest started at age 4 and one of the first things I noticed was the way karate provided discipline and practice following instructions without punishment or a sense of negativity. My son was easily motivated by his sensei’s fun and active approach to instruction. Four years later, karate is as much intellectual as physical for him, providing a growth mindset that he needs. That focus on growth is important for my daughter, too. Karate is a key part of her transformation from a quiet, shy girl who is afraid to do new things to a quiet, shy girl who has as much confidence in her heart and tiny body as she does her mind. We love being part of the community at the Eastside dojo, a very supportive place to learn, be active, and make friends.“
