Our son has been doing Hernle Family Karate since 2021 including at the dojo, at school and also summer camps. We are so very pleased. You can tell that both sensei Ben and sensei Hernle truly love what they do. Our son comes home so proud and happy. He has learned to respect his body and respect others while learning self protection. He has learned to work through challenges and has become quite disciplined and motivated to promote to the next belt. I love that he learns from more advanced leaders, and he also has an opportunity to be a leader. I love that they learn to respect their space and environment. Our children have been practicing Karate with the Hernly family for several years both at their school program and the Northwood Dojo. Our kids love it, and I love the structure and confidence it brings to their lives!
