Open 24 today
224 Hickory Ave, Romeoville“I think some of the reviews are a little unfair. Yes I would say their communication needs some work but they do a good job at a very reasonable price.Today I had a cut-off valve that needed to be replaced. I called Rose first and was told the office would call me back. After an hour I called 2 more plumbers and one said they could come on Saturday and would be $255. The other called back in 10 minutes and said Monday for $220, I booked that one. Rose called me back in 2 hours and said someone could come out later on at 4:30, I said sure.Someone showed up at 6 and I got it done that day for $157. I didn't have to wait the 4 days to get it done.If it's a non emergency and you have time, I would always call them first.“

It's well engineered with built-in redundency. Now that I am in the suburbs, I am looking into a Tramco pedestal pump over a submersible zoeller or big box brand that gets replaced every 5 years as a precaution. $200-300+ Diy/ big box pump every 5 years adds up, plus the anxiety just isn't worth it.“

“On Friday afternoon my water heater went out, and I started calling plumbers on Saturday morning with the goal of getting my nice warm water back by the end of the day. I was able to get three appointments set up with three different plumbers- one for Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, but I was still determined to find someone who would come out that day. I was thrilled when Neighborhood Rooter Express said someone could be there within a few hours.
Sam (the Al Pacino look alike) arrived and saw to it that my wish for a prompt return of hot water was granted! Sam worked late into the evening to get us up and running, despite it being a Saturday. I am also thankful that he discovered an unrelated issue that needed attention. Unbeknownst to me the ejector pump had stopped working, and if Sam hadn't caught that, it could have caused water overflow/ flooding in our basement. He returned the very next morning (Sunday) to install a new ejector pump, and also to replace a pipe that might have turned into a problem. He performed a total of three jobs altogether, and gave me a very nice discount on the whole package since I was not expecting to need other repairs.
Thank you to Sam and to Neighborhood Rooter for coming to the rescue!!“
