So we went shopping for carpet with stipulation that installers would move and return everything to its place. Key carpet quoted us the best price, thousands less than other quotes. We took samples of the carpet we bought to other vendors to compare and were assured that it was very good quality. That made us more confident of the decision. Installation day came and we just sat while installers did all the heavy moving and installing. It took them the whole day to complete the job and they worked their butts off. There is a transition strip between the kitchen and the living room, where the floor is in fine shape, so we didn't want to refinish the entire level.
