“It was early Friday evening and I made a very foolish (and dangerous) error when trying to install something in an outlet resulting in the outlet exploding and sparks flying out. Although, I could switch the breaker back on and the other outlets worked, I was concerned that an electrical fire could be smoldering behind the wall. I knew that given the time of day that I would be seeking “emergency electrician hours” but was surprised at how hard it was to find anyone who would come.Sapphire answered my call immediately. The dispatcher was so nice and pleasant and said that he could have someone there within a couple hours.The technician arrived at the early end of the arrival window - even waiting for ME as I had to drop my son at an event. He got straight to work assessing the damage, replacing the part and even making sure the wires were tightened and everything was as safe as possible before reinstalling the plate and completing the work.Gave me advice and solutions for both the item I was trying to install and another question I had on an appliance light.He assured me that I did the right thing as electrical fires can fester and it could have been very dangerous to leave it over the weekend.Although the out of hours cost was a bit more than regular hours… I do not feel it was egregious and it was well worth the peace of mind that was provided.You could tell this was a professional operation with highly skilled and knowledgeable technicians.Thank you!!“

“I had a bathroom GFCI outlet and shower light that had no power. I hired Joe because he worked with my schedule. Joe did troubleshooting and found the problem very quickly (a wire that came loose from a wire nut in a junction box on a different floor!!!). Fixed my issue in just under an hour. Joe was very professional and put receptacles, switches and cover plates back together better than he found them. He takes pride in what he does, is very experienced, professional, efficient, on-time and is very fair on pricing. I absolutely recommend Joe from Wirenuts... “I had an emergency problem at night and after calling 10 so-called 24/7 electrical companies only Primary Electric called me back. A gentleman by the name of James (Jim) Pinner, called at night verbally assessed the situation and set a time to meet. When I meet Jim he was extremely professional. He took the time to completely explain the problems then he jumped on the project extremely fast and efficient, not to mention he had 98% of the tools on his truck. Then after all the work was complete, he gave a price that beat the competition by thousands of dollars so I will say Primary Electric has earned my business moving forward and if you want an honest affordable estimate and fast work delivery then Primary Electric is the place for you. I would for sure try and ask for James (Jim) Pinner, but I am sure if they got him on board then all their technicians are spot on and 110% ethical and practical about getting a big job done. I personally hate it when people ask where the location is and I say Lincoln Park and I can literally see dollar signs, with Jim and Primary that wasn't the case.
