They even handled tree trimming as part of the job. The electric company didn’t get to us until nearly 24 hours later, but by then Kinetic Energy had already done everything on their end. “During the storms today, my condo lost power. Power did not return for me even when all the other units in the building were back on. After getting nowhere with ComEd and 3 other emergency electrical companies who had no availability until next week, I called the emergency line for A to Z Electric and was connected with Ron, who saved the day!

He immediately started helping me troubleshoot over the phone, patiently walking me through what to look for and try, talking me through each step. He was very calm and patient and knew exactly what to check. He spent over 20 minutes on the phone with me and with his help, I was able to get the power turned back on!

He also took the time to explain how it happened and how to avoid it go forward. I cannot believe how lucky I was to find Ron and cannot recommend him enough. Not too many people would spend the time talking you through troubleshooting something on the phone versus charging you for a visit. “Mike and his craftsman crews are beyond compare. JD Electric just installed a electrical riser pipe through my roof. It was a big deal(at least for me!). The work done is impeccable. I am a very selective person. I am amazed at how fast the work was done and the very day lightning hit the tree that broke the riser pipe JD Electric had a generator and my home had power. “I had a small repair, being no power to a dishwasher, in a large condo building. The building gave me the names of the electrical contractors who work in the building, one of which was Dunning. I was hesitant to use them because the job was so small. The first one I called never followed up after three attempt. Dunning, however, was easy to reach, responsive and very fair on its pricing. “I consider Jeff to be a teaching and reorganizing electrician. During this hot spell, the window AC tripped a circuit breaker. I was afraid to try it again, had to get it going, as my wife is 95, I'm 86.
Jeff checked out the AC, checked the circuit breaker, taught me that this kind of AC draws a spike of a charge when started, explained that there is a reset button on the plug. I had seen that but didn't know how to use it (our son bought it for us, so he has that paperwork for it.)
He moved the plug for a lamp, so that the AC doesn't have to share.
I appreciate all those things jeff said and did.
I asked how to pay him. Jeff said there 'd be no charge. This thank you is the least I can do in return.
