“It was early Friday evening and I made a very foolish (and dangerous) error when trying to install something in an outlet resulting in the outlet exploding and sparks flying out. Although, I could switch the breaker back on and the other outlets worked, I was concerned that an electrical fire could be smoldering behind the wall. I knew that given the time of day that I would be seeking “emergency electrician hours” but was surprised at how hard it was to find anyone who would come.Sapphire answered my call immediately. The dispatcher was so nice and pleasant and said that he could have someone there within a couple hours.The technician arrived at the early end of the arrival window - even waiting for ME as I had to drop my son at an event. He got straight to work assessing the damage, replacing the part and even making sure the wires were tightened and everything was as safe as possible before reinstalling the plate and completing the work.Gave me advice and solutions for both the item I was trying to install and another question I had on an appliance light.He assured me that I did the right thing as electrical fires can fester and it could have been very dangerous to leave it over the weekend.Although the out of hours cost was a bit more than regular hours… I do not feel it was egregious and it was well worth the peace of mind that was provided.You could tell this was a professional operation with highly skilled and knowledgeable technicians.Thank you!!“

He replaced dead hardwired fixtures in our kitchen, did work on an internal chandelier and our outdoor light as well. He was kind, on time, worked cleanly, and did great work for a reasonable price. “These guys were great and we highly recommend them.We had some issues with fluorescent lights in the basement and our kitchen ceiling fan/light wasn't working. The owner of the company came over and gave us a very reasonable estimate for the work. We agreed to move forward with fixing the basement lights, but the kitchen fan issue was dependent on what was inside the fan motor/housing. So the plan was fix the basement lights, as well as fix the fan if that was possible.2 electricians came over the next week (right on time, and very professional), and they fixed the basement lights. They took out the ballasts from the fluorescent lights, and replaced them with LED compatible units (no more buzzing!), and they put in the correct bulbs.Then they moved onto the kitchen ceiling fan. After opening the motor housing the receiver for the remote needed replacing. But we didnt have a replacement for it on hand (and they didnt either). They offered to go buy the new receiver and remote, but in my research I knew it was cheaper online than the big box store down the street ($25 vs $58 at HD). (And I didnt want these nice guys wasting their time driving to HD to buy a part for me).So my wife and I told them we'd buy the part ourselves and hopefully they could come back. The receiver and new fan remote came a few days later and they were able to come back THAT SAME DAY to install it (it arrived early in the morning). They installed the new receiver and also bypassed a wall switch for this fan (which our kids always mess with). The fan and light works great (and no more switch means my kids dont mess with it since the remote is kept away from small hands). The 2 guys who came were 100% professional the whole time. We now highly recommend Power Up Electric if anyone asks us. I normally don't write reviews, but these guys were top notch.Services: Light fixture installation“

He was very confident in his skills and was able to find the short in the bathroom of my 100+ years house without having to break walls or install new updated lines as many other electricians had told me I had to do.
