“What a pleasant experience dealing with Len Roofing, from the initial meeting and estimate through the final cleanup, everything went as planned. Mark, the owner, was very patient and answered all my questions about what was to be done. Julie in the office was in constant communication with us and kept us up to date on when the project would start. She answered any questions we had promptly. Samples were dropped off, colors were picked and the roof was replaced in a timely manner. Manuel and his crew were very efficient and knowledgable. The work went as planned and completed in a couple days. We had cell numbers to contact the owner, Mark, if there were issues. After the roof was completed and the area was all cleaned up another employee came by and swept the entire yard (magnet) to insure there were no stray nails. All in all we couldn't be happier with how our new roof turned out.

“They replaced our roof, siding, gutters, etc. after the last storm damage of October 2023.
Elijah stayed on top of things every step of the way from the beginning to the end, but what impressed us the most was that he never bickered or argued with us to prove us wrong, like some other roofers did before, and never made anything a big deal.
Instead, he never minded to take care of any nuance or anything in question, e.g. they paid for the whole house wash after their siding contractors brought dusty (new) siding and got their hands dirty and left some marks on siding and trim - no questions or objections from Elijah - boom,.. done!
The same was with any little thing or question: he promptly came over, checked, and took care of that.
He was always very friendly, and so was his staff/office.

“Working with Joel and Unique Deck Builders has been one of the best construction project experiences we're ever experienced. We had to have our deck torn apart and removed to fix a bad roof on a small condo building in Chicago. Joel removed the existing deck and salvaged as much of the materials (mostly outdoor kitchen equipment) as possible, and then entirely rebuilt our rooftop with new Deckorators composite decking and the salvaged items. The finished product is beautiful and much better than what it was before, which had been done by a different rooftop builder originally. All of Joel's team was great to work with! They were all pleasant, fun, interactive, and willing to modify what they were doing to meet both our expectations and their own of themselves. Lastly, Joel himself has been fabulous to work with. He made many stops here before we started to make sure he had a good grasp of what was wanted/needed, and then periodically along the way as the project progressed. I feel that he not only was a contractor, but that we became friends along the way as well.

I would highly recommend using Unique Deck builders for any deck or rooftop project you might be considering. I think you'll end up with a great finished product and had a fun time doing it as well.“

In the construction industry, often time issues are left out of bids in order to secure the work. Contractors will inevitably include change orders as a way of re-capturing costs that were not addressed. The other contractors I solicited bids from did this, and it was clear that the bids were not "apples to apples". *** captured every line item in the process from start to finish and it was refreshing to be presented with an accurate, comprehensive proposal. 4. *** uses proper project management software and shares the process, timelines and cost estimates directly with the client via a web portal. This is the sign of a competent builder. Too many renovation or new construction projects wind up disappointing the client due to a failure to meet deadlines. I had no doubt that our construction would have been carefully tracked and any delays (which are common in construction scheduling) incorporated into the process.Anecdotally, *** built two of our friend's houses and they are extremely happy with his work.“
