“The slideshow was the best. I brought in random pics of various sizes and they got all of them in. Photo albums, cards, pictures in frames and a few items were displayed well and accessible around the room. The flowers were better than expected. My mom looked good and was dressed as she was in life, right down to the perfume provided. From the initial phone call to meeting multiple times before she passed to the very end of service. Ted and his team at Brust Funeral Home gave us everything we needed and wanted for our sister. They took over the slide show so we didnt have to worry about putting somthing together for her while we navigated the whole process. Ted was extremely accommodating to all our wishes included but not limited to buddhist services, provided extra items needed like tables and chairs, even went as far as providing security at family's request. Every single detail that they could have possibly thought of they did and I would have never imagined that a funeral home and their staff can provide so much comfort during such a hard time for our family. My mom had to be transported to Ecuador and John’s team handled all the paperwork, translations and seals that were needed. “I can’t say enough about how well cared for we felt by Phillip and the wonderful team at Montclair-Lucania. No one wants to plan a funeral, but they made the process stress-free and added thoughtful touches that made the service truly special. The banquet-hall style room suited my father so much more than a traditional space, and the catering area, and overflow spaces gave our family room to gather comfortably. A beautiful slideshow, table for family photos and artifacts, and a Bluetooth speaker for my dad’s favorite songs turned the atmosphere into more of a celebration of life than a somber occasion.

The team’s attention to detail was amazing, from providing wheelchairs and walkers when needed, to coordinating everything seamlessly on the day of. The building itself is lovely, with ample parking, so it was very easy for our guests.

Most of all, Phillip’s professionalism and kindness stood out, even as he took my family’s offbeat humor in stride during such a difficult time. The facility has plenty of parking, is clean and has a full dining area. They have a very relaxing section where you can observe live finches interacting and there is a small children's area as well.

My brother knew so much about old cars. He also knew so many details about music. He was an icon who went to Heaven too soon.

“My father passed away last week, and the funeral home was very helpful in giving us the information we needed both to plan a beautiful service for my father and to deal with the practicalities of my father's death. They made a very difficult process easier to deal with.“

“I pass by the Elms on my daily walks with my dogs, and when my husband died after a tragic accident, I looked no further for funeral services than the Elms. When my son and I went in to make the arrangements for George, we were met with kindness, compassion, and professionalism by Miles Fogle, funeral director, and Donna, the office assistant. I was touched by their caring and and sensitivity as we planned my husband's memorial. Mr. Fogle and Donna kept us informed as the Medical Examiner began an investigation into my husband's death and to when he would be cremated. We were allowed to set up items and photos for the memorial the day before it was scheduled. Again, Miles and Donna made sure that everything was exactly as we wanted it to be, including playing Queen music during visitation. The Elms is lovely and tranquil. The chapel is tastefully decorated, the lounge was spotless and tasteful, and the washrooms were clean and well appointed. Truly, I could not have asked for a more wonderful, tasteful, and beautiful experience as we said goodbye to our husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. I highly recommend using the Elms and Mr. Fogle if you have a need for funeral services. A sad experience was made easier for us due to their sympathy, sensitivity, kindness and care.“
