They cut, dyed and set her hair just as she would've instructed it to be done. To be able to do that for people is a gift! Blessings.“

2447 Des Plaines Ave, North Riverside“When you lose someone you love, you hope to find people who will not only guide you through the process but also truly care. That is exactly what we found.
From the moment we met with the team, they treated our family with extraordinary kindness, compassion, and respect. We shared our wishes of celebrating my husband Carlos’ life exactly as he would have wanted—a celebration centered on his love for his family, his friends, and, of course, his beloved Chicago Bears. Every detail reflected who he was, and they made sure his personality and spirit were present throughout the services.
A special thank you to Debbie, Michelle, Anna, and Frank. Your compassion, patience, and genuine care made an unimaginable time a little easier to bear. You didn’t simply help us plan a service—you helped us celebrate Carlos’ life in a way that honored who he truly was. You listened to every story, embraced every wish, and made us feel heard, supported, and loved.
What touched us most was how genuinely everyone cared. We never felt like just another family or another service. You made us feel like we mattered. You walked beside us every step of the way with grace, empathy, and kindness. The compassion you showed our family was unlike anything we have ever experienced. You became more than professionals—you became family during one of the hardest moments of our lives.
Our family will never forget the love, dignity, and exceptional care you gave us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for giving us the gift of peace while celebrating a life so deeply loved.“

1199 S Arlington Heights Rd, Elk Grove Village“Scripture tells us that the Good Lord will never challenge us with more than we are capable of handling, and if it is a situation where the challenge is bigger than us, God will place people in our lives to love and support us and get us through that challenge or situation. In this situation, recieving that phone call that my 92 year old mother had suddenly passed away after I had spoken to her earlier that day, and everything was fine immediately threw me into shock.
Being my mother's POA, the responsibilities of her final arrangements and funeral fell squarley on my shoulders. After making a few phone calls to immediate family members, I took a deep breath and called Grove Memorial Chapel. Divine intervention is the only explanation I have that when I called Grove Memorial, Monica Conroy answered the phone and within an initial 30 minute conversation with Monica it felt as though the weight of the world had been lifted from my shoulders.
Being 68 years old I don't think I have ever crossed paths with a more compassionate, loving, caring yet professional person in my entire life. No words could ever come close to properly explaining and expressing the love, appreciation and gratitude that I have in my in my heart for all of the wonderful people at Grove Memorial Chapel that navigated us through this difficult time and situation. Their attention to detail and focus on all of our family was overwhelming and so appreciated. With the guidence from Grove Memorial we were able to have an incredibly wonderful funeral for my mother that I know in my heart she would have been very pleased with. Needless to say based on my experience with the people of Grove Memorial Chapel, I highly recommend them to help and support you as they supported and helped us through a loved one entering their eternal home.“

6901 W Belmont Ave, Chicago“Losing our mother brought a level of grief so blinding and overwhelming that we felt completely lost. But in the midst of that heavy darkness, the team at Monclaire-Lucania Funeral Home became our anchor, and their profound compassion kept us focused, grounded, and they patiently guided us every step of the way.
The facilities are absolutely gorgeous, but the one detail that truly sets this home apart: the beautiful natural light flowing from the hallway windows into the chapel where we were with my mom. In a moment filled with so much sadness, that light felt incredibly comforting. The main chapel is spacious, the seating is comfortable, and the lobby is peaceful. Even with over 150 grieving guests, the pristine kitchen and large layout gave everyone room to breathe, and the staff diligently kept the restrooms clean throughout.
Our funeral director, Phillip, was a true blessing. Because I was running on no sleep or food, I know I was on edge the whole time, yet Phillip anchored all of us with unwavering patience and professionalism. He gently walked us through every detail of the process and explained to us what to expect during the witnessing of the cremation, ensuring we wouldn't be uncomfortable partaking in tge process, which Philip also made it a very beautiful, respectful process.
Philip even managed to secure an amazing Deacon at the very last minute to hold the services. No really, I think Philip reads minds. Their meticulous care even extended to preparing my mom. She looked breathtakingly beautiful. They listened to every single request, even taking the carefully detailed time to paint her nails.
To honor her artistic soul, we brought her sewing projects and elephant figurines to display. Before we even arrived, the staff had already intricately set up the tables with printed photos from our slideshow, creating an already gorgeous display. The personal items we brought simply added to the beautiful foundation they had built for us.
The only downside was the lack of a built-in PA system. We were forced to play music through a small Bluetooth speaker, but because the speaker worked fairly well and everything else about the space was so stunning, it honestly didn't bother us.
While our family was entirely consumed by the loss of our beautiful mother. Their strength and tenderness carried us through. I could never do what they do, and I am eternally grateful that such compassionate people were there to bring order, focus, and beauty to our darkest days. Thank you, Phillip, and the entire staff.“

1500 S Meyers Rd, Lombard“Seamless, Compassionate Care from Start to Finish
Funeral Home made what could have been an overwhelming experience feel truly seamless. From the very beginning, they guided our family every step of the way — from selecting the casket to all the preparations for the wake, funeral, and gravesite burial.
As a family-owned business, their personal touch truly shines through and speaks to the extra care, compassion, and attention we received throughout the entire process.
Eric Shoesmith and Beth Moscatello ensured that everything was in order at all times, and their calm, steady presence brought us great comfort. The entire team was incredibly attentive and handled every detail efficiently, from coordinating with the hospital through the gravesite service.
I was especially impressed by the thoughtful touches — the beautiful prayer cards, the memory photobook for signatures, and the care taken during the wake to ensure beverages and utensils were always replenished. Nadine and Erin were wonderful and so attentive throughout. The limousines throughout the funeral day were perfectly coordinated, making the day flow smoothly.
It was truly an easy process handled by a team that went above and beyond to make us feel supported and cared for during such a difficult time. Their warmth and professionalism made something so painful a much more manageable experience for our entire family.
We are deeply grateful for everything they did to honor my father.“

His intelligence, caring nature and believe it or not - sense of humor- helped our family during one of the most difficult times. I honestly feel as though he is part of the family now. Every detail of our mother’s funeral was handled so professionally. Our family lives out of town and they worked with us over Zoom to get as much planning done ahead of us arriving for the funeral. Our mother looked as beautiful as ever as if she were asleep. Flowers were arranged beautifully. The funeral procession was lead by escort cars that allowed for a smooth funeral procession. All the same professionalism that was given to our father’s funeral 15 years ago was given to our mother. For that, we are forever grateful. We really recommend Memory Eternal Funeral Directors 1000%.“

If there is a problem with an existing grave marker, the office is sensitive and responsive in caring for any issue. The entire office staff is pleasant to work with,; without exception. They went above and beyond to hunt down the burial plot of one of our fallen Korean War heroes, whose information was entered over 75 years ago and was not seemingly accessible. They took extra time and effort to hunt it down, much to the appreciation of the Veterans association documenting those we lost during that war.“

“I lost my brother unexpectedly and when that happens there all these decisions that need to be made quickly. Mia was an angel sent when we needed guidance and compassion. We had explored a few other places and none felt right until we met with Mia. The moment we met her, I felt peace and knew I could trust her with my brother. Resources were tight and she advised us on how to have a beautiful service that we could afford. Throughout the process she was a phone call away, even on her day off. The day of his service Kailin was also there to make sure my family had everything we needed. There is definitely value in family owned businesses, they have heart and are invested in the community. Mia, we will forever be grateful for everything you did for us, especially my mom,“
