3221 N Clark St, Chicago“Josie LOVES sit social and we absolutely love to bring her here because we can tell how happy and excited she gets when we arrive just at the door. Once we walk inside, she forgets about me and dashes into the room! The people who work here are really sweet and kind, making it trustworthy for us to bring Josie here. We love receiving the pup updates during Josie’s stay here and seeing the cutest photos! I’ve done a ton of research before selecting a daycare to bring Josie to and this place definitely gave me a sense a relief. Thank you Sit Social for loving Josie as much as we do.“

705 W Belmont Ave, Chicago“I can’t say enough great things about Bow Wow Behavioral! I've done board & train and in home training and the progress George has made since starting with them has been incredible—he’s calmer, listens so much better, and our walks are actually enjoyable now. Ty, Kyle, and Laura are true pros who clearly love what they do. They take the time to explain things, tailor their approach to each dog, and celebrate every little win along the way. It’s been such a rewarding experience watching George grow with their guidance. If you’re looking for a team that’s knowledgeable, kind, and truly committed to helping dogs and their owners succeed, Bow Wow Behavioral is the one to call.“

4321 N Harlem Ave, Norridge“The place is amazing! People are so nice and very friendly! I took a cat, I found in my backyard to see if she is chipped, so I can find her owner - Companion people were above and beyond. I am very thankful for them that they are part of Norridge community.“

3232 N Elston Ave, Chicago“Wenz is absolutely amazing! We are so thankful we did the behavioral modification training for our Golden Retriever pup that was going through her teenage phase. I highly recommend working with Wenz, who has a great understanding of how to train dogs at all ages with a loving, caring and gentle attitude. She has a lot of great tricks for barking and leash pulling. She helped us come up with alternatives whenever our pup was being stubborn or biting the leash in public places. As the dog parents, we also learned so much and we developed a stronger relationship with our pup. The best part was learning how to properly leash walk our puppy as well as how she should greet visitors. It’s so easy to walk our pup now around the neighborhood and she’s a lot calmer when we have friends over. We would definitely do it all over again.“

They evaluate the dogs for temperament and split them into different play groups, I love seeing them posted on their instagram, and they always come back soooo tired and calm. Works really well with my work schedule and they’re very flexible with drop off and pick up and booking is so easy.“

I have lived in 8 states, even more cities, and taken my dogs to many, many vets and let me tell you, I miss Higgins more than you can imagine. If they were in Las Vegas, I would go to them for everything.“

1522 N Ashland Ave, Chicago“I recently took my dog, Steffy, to SBK Dog Club, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive.
The grooming itself was top-notch, Steffy came out looking clean, well-trimmed, and smelled great! I also appreciated the detailed report they gave me about her behavior and any issues they noticed during grooming.
I highly recommend SBK Dog Club to any pet owner looking for a reliable and caring grooming service. We will definitely be returning!“

5500 N Western Ave, Chicago“We’ve learned so much from Kim about how to improve obedience with our dog, Penny, along with ways to stimulate her mind as an active herding dog mix. We took her group basic obedience class, which helped Penny practice her listening skills with distractions, and Kim has been very generous with her time, helping us troubleshoot issues even years after we took her class.“
“I highly recommend their classes for new pet owners, or people who want their dog to behave in a more predictable manner. It makes life better when you have a dog that knows right from wrong. The trainer’s here are great. They are knowledgeable and have patience. They show you examples with your own dog.“

2851 W Irving Park Rd, Chicago“My cat Georgie had his first appointment with this vet today, and to say I am impressed would be an understatement!
Dr Mueller has to be one of the best vets I have ever interacted with. He was so sweet to my Georgie, and so reassuring to me (despite my intense health anxiety around my cat). I immediately felt like I could trust him, which has not been the case with other practices I’ve visited in the past. He is definitely in the right line of work!
The vet techs were equally as sweet and knowledgeable. They were very reassuring to my cat and I - I even saw him slow blinking at the tech that was restraining him a few times!
Some reviews note that this place can be pricy, but honestly, I felt like pricing was very transparent and on par with what veterinary care costs these days. I think I have finally found my forever vet in Chicago!“

Even with the odds against him, he was more than willing to help me try to give him a little bit more time with us. After everything was going south for him, Dr. B was very compassionate and understanding helping me with the grieving.
He truly loves what he does and is great with all his animals.“

1207 N Wells St, Chicago“Dr. Boin is conscientious with seasoned expertise and his staff are kind and detail oriented with clear attention to protocols. We had a recent scare with our dog and potential bladder cancer that was flagged after we took her to vist VEG on North Avenue for emergency care(urine in blood). The recommended follow-up urine test CADEF BRAF was botched by Old Town Animal Care who mishandle the sample and rendered it unreadable by the Lab; VEG stated incorrectly that they do conduct the test only to take our sample and tell us they did not have the relationship with the Lab. It was a stressful nightmare. Near North facilitated the urine test within a day(with detailed protocols for us) and we got the results within 2 days(not 2 weeks) -the follow-up ultrasound was scheduled within days and the results provided immediately after by Dr. Boin. Dr. Boin called numerous times to speak to me personally before and after the diagnosis. As a Behavioral Health Scientist, clinical professor and animal rights activists I have been alarmed at the lack of clear communication and attention to protocols we experienced elsewhere(e.g. sending us the health history of another dog with the same name; mishandling a urine sample, missing the signs of a ACL tear and taking only X-rays of hips, etc.). Animals do not speak our language and like pre-verbal children are dependent on humans. It is our responsibility to advocate for their care and safety. Dr. Boin explains in detail and compassionate candor that only comes with seasoned expertise. We are grateful for him and his staff and we know our pup is in safe hands there. “I had a hard time finding the right hotel for my 15-month-old American bully, I didn't feel I can trust anyone with my dog, he was never left with anyone before, he is full of energy and he's not neutered. After Contacting Magdalena we set up Playdates so she can meet my baby doggie. She fell in love with my Dragon! After leaving Dragon I cannot explain how happy, peaceful and comfortable I was leaving my Dragon with Dzika dog academy I was receiving daily updates and pictures, which made me feel comfortable! Magdalena is awesome guys! She is full off energy, she loves animals and she is the only one who I trust with my dog now!!! If I could give her million stars I would, trust me she deserved!!!!“

“My dog loves this place and the staff. Every time we pull into the parking lot and he hears the other dogs barking, my little 12 pound buddy becomes a sled dog and pulls me to the front door in anticipation of playing with the other dogs.“
