But she is truly outstanding at what she does!Before Mariah I thought deep pressure was the only way to cut through the amount of tension I have that causes my migraines. That wasn't always the most comfortable or relaxing experience. Mariah is focused and intentional with her approach, and does not need to use deep uncomfortable pressure to give me relief. She also puts me to sleep every time - so I get the best of both with her, relief and relaxation.I'm super grateful for her ?“

“IMHO, the timbre of the reception desk would be better if it leaned toward being calm instead of chipper. It's great to be cheerful, but when I have a headache, I'd rather encounter soothing.The massage rooms are grey, which for me is a depressing colour. Lavender, or a dusty lavender, would be more pleasant, and better match the store's logo.Still, the massage quality is so good that I bought a membership. Corinne is my go-to for working down tight calf muscles. She also found a knot at the small of my back that I didn't even realize was bothering me; I felt much better after she took care of it.You also get a bottle of water on your way out the door.Be advised that when you have a membership, gifting a massage to a friend is not straight forward. You must navigate several options. And there is a $10 "transfer" fee which I believe is beyond the individual store's control (basically, Massage Envy gets $10 when an employee does 30 seconds of data entry). This is still better than giving a gift card, because it doesn't happen until the recipient actually uses the service.Overall, good quality where it counts.“

“This review is way overdue, as I’ve been coming here for almost 8 months now and I am just thrilled to be here. So many people to acknowledge! I come in usually twice and week and I see Tara.Tara is outstanding! She takes time every appointment to make me feel great and does an incredible job on my hair. Her extension placement, her styling, blowouts…. You name it, she kills it!!!There are times when our schedules do not align or maybe she has a day off, so I see Kristen and Mel as my backups. They too are wonderful! They take their time and I always leave so happy with my style when I am done! I feel like I have a great “team” for my hair needs.Amy does my color and I couldn’t adore her more! She is great at what she does, she is professional and really knows what she is doing. She and Tara both are perfectionists, so I know I am always in good hands with them! They have set the bar high and I appreciate that! When I see Mel and Kristen, I feel just as happy as they too take what they do seriously and set the bar high. I guess it’s best to say I have never left the salon feeling disappointed, as they all do a fantastic job and I appreciate each and every one of them!Now for the support staff, I’m bad with names overall, but I want to say there is a shampoo girl, with short dark hair, going through beauty school. She is an absolute sweetheart. She always goes out of her way to say hello, even if she’s not doing my shampoo. When she does shampoo me, fantastic job!!On to the front desk! Everyone is always kind and helpful but Olivia absolutely stands out! She goes above and beyond! She continuously has a smile on her face, she is professional and knows exactly what she is doing up there, whether it’s booking or changing appts, gift cards, products…. She is my “go to” when I am checking in or checking out. She is the right person to have as the first and last point of contact for this salon. :)I am terrible with names, but I also want to give a shout out to the manager (feel awful her name is escaping me!). She too is friendly, smiling all the time and knows me by my first name. The entire staff always makes me feel special and welcomed when I come in.I was with my same hair person for many years and when I moved out here, I needed to find someone closer. This was a very difficult decision for me, to end that professional relationship, because she had become more than a stylist, she was a friend. That being said, I have been BEYOND happy with my experience at this Mario location and all the people who have been a part of this experience! Looking forward to many years here!“

“I have been to Tara a few times now. If I could, I would be seeing her weekly. I have had multiple back and neck surgeries and I suffer from multiple autoimmune issues. So I am dealing with several issues all at once. Tara knows exactly what I need even if I cant seem to explain it.She makes me very comfortable when I am there, like I am with a friend who understands me. I won't be going to any other massage therapists as long as Tara can take care of me.“
