My parents had used Alan Tinker plumbing in their home when I was a teen, and were pleased with their experiences. So, when my husband and I bought a home in the northern suburbs and had a plumbing issue, I called Alan. We’ve used them a couple of times now. Most recently, his son installed a new garbage disposal for us. After he completed the job, he showed me how to change the filter cartridge that is under my kitchen sink, for my hot-water dispenser. Overall, Alan Tinker provides consistently good plumbing services at reasonable prices.“

“We recently had a new furnace and A/C unit installed by BRC this week. They were quick and efficient, but didn’t replace our 25 year old forced air humidifier on our new furnace(which are basically useless), but still, they should have replaced the humidifier being 25 years old. I’m sure the new April-air forced air humidifiers are much better 25 yrs later. That was our only gripe.
They installed a 2.5 ton DuCane A/C unit replacing our 2 ton Trane, I was surprised the CFM(fan motor speed) didn’t have much of a difference from our 25 year old, 2 ton Trane unit? Well that’s something to be noted about “Trane”, they’re basically bulletproof, and as the motto goes, “nothing stops a Trane” is True.
We did notice a huge decrease in our electric ⚡️ bill.
It use to be $500-550 a month in the summer months, now with the new DuCane Seer 16, our electric bill is 280$ a month. The efficiency over 25 years was amazing!!
When you come back to do our routine yearly cleaning(I’ve already had to clean all the radiator fins because of our dryer air exhaust is 4 inches from our A/C unit) we’ll discuss maybe switching out the humidifier.
